Something to consider if you're thinking of an Xbox One..

How about a summary?

According to the video. NSA has drivers in all versions of Windows / Xbox that lets them spy on you. Driver advapi.dll, allows NSA to load unauthorized security programs on all versions of Windows.

Goes on about how Michael Hastings may have been killed for knowledge he obtained by remotely controlling the car. Yadda yadda. Video for the crash:

Remotely controlling a modern car isn't too far fetched, most good cars are drive-by-wire. If they have an OnStar or another modem installed (which I believe Mercedes does), it's possible to do things by manipulating the computer. The car in question, a Mercedes, likely had advanced electrical features. If you've ever driven a Mercedes or BMW, you know they have sensors in everything (seatbelts, seat weight, tire pressure, windshield wipers, rain, brake pads, etc. etc). The sensors have sensors, lol. Hence, why these types of cars are known for having "electrical issues" (usually sensor failure).

He finishes that you might want to avoid the XboxOne for the camera/kinect, as it's likely these NSA backdoors exist in it.

Take it for what you will. That's the summary. It's easy to dismiss as "tinfoil hat" theory, but let's face it, I wouldn't be at all surprised anymore.

It IS a tin foil hat conspiracy. That said, it doesn't mean there isn't a chance of there being some bit of truth behind it. However without any real PROOF it remains nothing more than a conspiracy.

The funny thing is the variable name, for this public crypto key (_NSAKEY), was discovered back in 1999. Microsoft explained, and denied all the speculations about it being this backdoor for the NSA back then. If you want to debate whether they're lying or not, fine, but the guy in the video says they (Microsoft) doesn't deny it, and if I remember correctly (I watched it yesterday) he says every version of Windows, since Win95, has "NSA software" on it, and that Microsoft came out and said "yeah, we built it in." I'm guessing his tinfoil hat is on a little too tight, and didn't hear their response back in 1999.

So yeah, his video closes with speculation that Microsoft, using Kinect, will help the NSA spy on everybody.

Sounds like a movie plot to me that Mel Gibson would make or be in.....
