Hmm, ok too far away then.

All right, first, get the HDD from Amazon.com to lessent the number of sites you have to buy from:
http://www.amazon.com/Western-Digit...61G3MS/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1361152946

Also, get this slightly cheaper RAM from Amazon.com as well:
$42 - Corsair CMV8GX3M2A1333C9 2 x 4GB DDR3 1333 RAM

As for the case and PSU, if you truly want that NZXT Vulcan mATX case, you will need a modular PSU due to the limited space. So I recommend the following PSU:
http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Modul...ie=UTF8&qid=1361153539&sr=1-1&keywords=CX500M

Would it be better for me to get a different case, I'm not really focused on one single case, the only thing is I kinda wanted a handle on my case and I couldnt find any cases that were under $70 except that one, but if it would be smarter for me to get more of a space efficient case I would do it.

IMO, unless you have severe space issues or plan on moving the PC around a lot, I would not bother with mATX since a quality and roomier ATX case are often cheaper than many mATX cases. Like these cases for example:
$50 - NZXT Source 210 Elite Black ATX Case
$60 - Corsair Carbide Series 200R ATX Case

Well other than the HDD, RAM, case, and PSU, the rest of that setup looks ok.

I wouldnt go with a micro atx case.

At least go with a mid tower atx, more space, better cooling, better cable management, room for expansion. Coolermaster Scout 2 is very nice Ive built on that case, its 99 bucks at microcenter and cheaper at newegg.

I also wouldnt go lowball on a power supply, I recommend the Corsair HX650, its a seasonic unit and offers plenty of amps on the 12v rail for future graphics card upgrades. Not all corsair power supplies have the same hardware, the HX650 is a seasonic unit and also gold certified. The cx series is inferior to the HX series. Seasonic is probably the very best hardware in a power supply.

There are plenty of nice mid tower atx cases in the market if size is a concern.

Atx motherboards offer alot more features than matx boards do and better expansion.

your particular microcenter does not carry the hx650 but they can get it in or order from newegg, newegg has a much larger inventory of corsair power supplies, the ax and hx series are seasonic units as well as some of the tx series v2.

I can vouch for the quality of the coolermaster storm scout 2, strong side panels, powder coat finish, rubberized top handle, plenty of fan mount options.

You can check those cases out on youtube to get detailed reviews and looks at the cases to explore their features.

These mid tower cases are affordable and quite feature rich.

As a side note microcenter will pricematch both newegg.com and tigerdirect.com so if you find something you like at microcenter check those sites to see if they have the same product for less.

check out johnnyguru.com and hardwaresecrets.com for reviews on power supplies, they are both good sites to tell you what hardware is in the power supply and who made it as well as detailed inspection of the components.

Power supply is one piece of hardware where quality is not something to skimp on. STAY AWAY FROM OCZ, Antecs haver shorter cables, sometimes too dam short. Seasonics can also be found on newegg. tiger and amazon.
