So quite a few folks have picked up the note ii; but not all note ii are created equal :) Which one did you buy and what vendor addition or subtraction do you like or dislike ?
 
Got mine from Polish Orange - 12 euro for phone + 30 month plan for 27 euro (normally 40 but i threatened to leave to competitor) plus i had to buy 4 euro data plan for 12 months for internet for my laptop.
 
Getting a AT&T cause I told Verizon after all these years to go fly a farking kite
 
I have the ATT Note II and the only I don't like it is the back which got the ATT logo. Oh well, I'm getting a new back anyway so it don't matter.
 
I'll be getting mine on Verizon in the next week or two. I'll be activating a new line on my account for my mom to use, use her line to get the Note 2, then sell my Gnex toward an iPhone 4/4S for her to use.

Bootloader seems to be close to being unlocked for us all. Fuck you, Verizon and your shitty policies.

Could be worse, the Verizon has theres slapped right on the Home button along with the back of the phone.

WOW! Verizon really made that beautiful phone look cheap with that home button logo and the extra large logo on the back. Such a shame!
 
What are the biggest differences people notice going from the SIII to this? I was thinking about upgrading but I can't justify putting down a few hundred just for a quad core/tad bit bigger screen, especially when I just got my SIII 3-4 months ago.

Yeah, a lot of their phones are now released with logos on the front and back. Razr line has it too although not that extreme. Getting sick of Verizon and their control over phones, but mine is paid for by work on their plan which has unlimited data and they have the best/fastest coverage in my area so I tolerate it.
 
I was disappointed to hear that the Verizon version does not have exposed contacts for a future wireless charging add-on.

I picked up the AT&T version, as I only get AT&T service in some remote places... Flashed CleanROM 3 and enabled soft keys and it's just about perfect.

If the true quad core, bigger screen and S-pen doesn't entice you, then no point in switching.

You left out the bit about no shitty pentile screen. size issues aside, seeing S3 and Note2 beside one another on the shelf the difference in image quality is astonishing.
 
I think AT&T has slightly higher upload/download speeds than Verizon. However that's comparing my friend's network with mine.

hahaha. Maybe, though if some one footed the bill for some hookers and blow and they were cheap and turned out to have syphilis, HIV, or the other STDs. Maybe I would bitch a little, just a little. :D
