Worked on origin site for Shift. Tried to get Shift 2 via origin, but no luck.No worries though, thanks for sharing
 
I monitored a 19+ page thread for this deal on another forum, apparently people got away with 10-15 free games.
 
If you buy an Origin game that happens to be on Steam, can you get it on Steam instead?
 
Shift 2 is the only one thats worked so far for me

I managed to get Dragon Age II so far. Looks like it can only be used once per account. It worked on a few titles but once I checked out for Dragon Age II it says invalid code now.

Didn't try it with multiple items in cart though.


EDIT: Seems to work once per account was able to use it on another account to get C&C 4 and it worked. But hasn't worked after.

It appears Origin is getting hammered at the moment, so damn slow.


This is working for some for multiple games:

"Not sure what the conditions are for this to work. Here are the directions I followed:

1) Use a new incognito/private window.
2) Add the game you want to get to your cart.
3) Apply the code. If the cost of the game isn't reduced to 0, then the code doesn't work with that game.
4) Click checkout.
5) At the screen where it asks for new account info, LOGIN at the top of the screen.
6) At this point, if you're asked for your CC info, you can't use the code for that game."
 
It only works on games that are less than $20. I was able to get Burnout Paradise Ultimate box and battlefield 2142 on my primary account and Crysis warhead, mass effect and dragon age origins on a second account i just opened today. Multiple tries works best with firefox on different computers
 
So far I've got Crysis Warhead, Sim City 4 Deluxe Edition, Create, Sim City Societies (+Destinations).

I'm still going, using Origin, FF, Chrome, IE and Opera. Loading like shit still, but I keep getting at it. :)
 
I did use the code just now to pick up Dragon Age Origins Super Turbo Turkey Puncher 3 Ultimate Edition. It discounted the game to $10.
 
Saw this last night. I'm curious how long it will be before EA figures it out and has to decide what to do about it. When the code first came out people were able to get multiple games at a time.
 
Final tally.

I got:
Crysis Warhead, Sim City 4 Deluxe Edition, Create, Sim City Societies (+Destinations).

My wife got:
Mirrors Edge, Sim City 4 Deluxe Edition.

It's not letting me sneak any more through. :(
 
I did it, but somehow I think a lot of peoples games are going to be invalidated soon :/.

One would think so but then they'd have to match up accounts that got the actual surveys which generated the code and not invalidate those games. It's gonna be a mess when they realize what happened. It's going to be one hell of a PR nightmare. Good thing EA doesn't care about their reputation.
 
I managed to get:

BF 2142 Deluxe
Darkspore
NFS: Pro Street

All the others I either had or didn't care about. Didn't really care that much about any of them TBH, but for free, why not. Tried to get C&C 4 and by then they had fixed the issue.
 
Got Saboteur (Origin). The only one I was able to get. Tried a ton more in Chrome but that didn't work out.
 
Their site is getting hammered.. taking like a minute for pages to load

The code literally just worked for Dragon Age II...which I'll probably never get around to, but...

Whats working for me: opened a private browsing window in firefox, picked a single game $19.99 or under, added code, said zero dollars, clicked check out, logged in, completed purchase, searched next game, added to cart, deleted previous game, new game went to zero dollars, checked out (was still logged in) completed. Repeat!

Third try I had to apply code again and it went to zero dollars and worked.

Sweet!!!

Is it dead? I keep trying to get a 2nd game but it either doesn't show anything after it applies or complains about it being an invalid code.

Just got Shift 2 Unleashed + DLC :D

I'll keep testing it out. Thanks to manofthem & Saberwulf...
