Thanks, that is good to know. I haven't ordered directly from them, but I have registered products in the past with them. I will check in the morning my CC to make sure it got charged, then I will call them.

PS. It seems kinda off that evga had updated their stock on Saturday evening.

I still cannot believe you wrote that above, and what's scary is that someday, somewhere you will be a voter, i feel for the future of all countries.
 
Comparing sales of the GTX 600 series to the 7000 series is like an apples to oranges comparison at the moment. Using the base that a GTX 680 is not in stock very long doesn't give any numbers. Since AMD's card are in stock doesn't always mean that the cards aren't selling.

All it shows is that the demand is higher then the supply for nvidia and AMD 's supply is greater then the demand.

Without real sales numbers you really can't make a factual comparison.
 
Who cares? This crap is just being used to throw mud into the face of the "other" side, on top of that there are no 100% factual sales numbers, just more fuel for arguing / talking smack...just drop it..

again...who cares.....back on topic the EVGA SC sig + is in stock at amazon.com.

does anyone have any info on when exactly the gtx 680 will be in sufficient quantity?

Based on previous rumors, I thought every retailer would have this card in adequate supply by now.
 
I got sick of waiting and picked one up off ebay. Gigabyte Windforce model, payed 600 for it. At newegg, since I live in Cali with 10% sales tax, it wasn't much of a price jump for me.

You should love it! I have one and it does 1325/7000 OC @ 60C.

I shall not be loving it it seems. The asshole cancelled the order on me, shipper's remorse. Seriously. Shipper's. FUCKING. REMORSE.

There is only 1 other GB 680GTX on ebay right now but the asshole is gouging with fake shipping for it. 610 for opening bid and shipping costs 54 bucks. I get a bit of gouging, it's ebay, but faking the shipping cost bugs the piss out of me. He also doesn't give any option for standard shipping.

I'm still waiting for the Asus DCUII GTX 680 (top) edition to come in stock. I've been trying to snag one for over a week now with no go. I signed up with Newegg's "auto notify" but did not get any messages or email. Did anyone from [H] got one the last few days?

Don't rely on autonotify features from them. Get a firefox addon or a program like the one posted on the evga forums, to check for you automatically.

Any app for android users that you know of? To be honest, trying to buy this asus card is getting to troublesome for me. Since I can't be in front of a computer during the day because of this thing called work and I've read that they stock them up during work hours, I'm afraid that it's going to take a long time before I even own one:(.

I saw both DCII cards flash in stock a few minutes ago but were both OOS before I could do anything about it. They must of only had a couple or it was an inventory glitch.
 
Jeez, still such low availability. I was pretty upset having to wait until now to get my 680 through Step Up. Honestly though I'm glad I was able to do it because I've yet to get on one of the Evga models quickly enough.
 
Well the egg was supposed to have 30 of each of the Dcu ii models coming in early this week.

THANK YOU! I just bought it (no tax in California strangely enough). It's funny, yesterday I'd bought this card off ebay (slightly used but still with all packaging, though the seller was calling it new even though it was already in his system powering his games lol) for $610. I ended up paying $536 for a genuinely new one thanks to you (the ebay order was cancelled today by the seller). So I appreciate it.

Im happy i helped. I got one of these babies its on the way but i need one more for another PC. But im on really tight budget so i cant go over 540$ i hope ill find one from the egg or amazon(sold by amazon not circuit city) soon :)

ASUS GTX 690 was instock at newegg for like 2 minutes at newegg. Sold out now.
ASUS DC2 680's were instock at newegg for about 10 minutes. Sold out now.

Amazon.com had stock of:

680 signature SC+ and signature SC cards, now sold out. Actually the signature sc+ is still showing up in stock.

I wanted that 690. ARGH.

They don't have amazon.com customer service or return policy. If you get a bad card or issues with it, you might need to pay a restock fee and have to pay for shipping. The turnaround time for return processing will definitely be longer, and you don't get amazon customer service. Its an all around hassle to deal with any amazon reseller, although CC is reputable for sure.

Wow seriously I have been watching the egg since this morning. And I don't see how I missed it. Well I need to find someone reselling one soon. Does anyone know when the low stock issue will clear up.

That looks alright to me the only difference is for just 680's you could have 256 bit in the box where you have 690
