Need a new custom gaming rig? Why not bid on this system put together by Corsair and TigerDirect to benefit the Multiple Sclerosis Society. A great system for a great cause! Go get your bid on!

My mother has had MS since 1983 , it is a horribly debilitating disease. Its nice to see support like this once in a while , I hope that Corsair and TigerDirect consider doing more of these in the future.

My mother has MS. Luckily she's able to control it with drugs.

My grandmother also had MS, she was paralyzed from the neck down due to it and was confined to a bed/wheelchair for over 30 years due to it.

I'd love to bid on this system but I can't afford it.

ya, wonder why they didn't do something like raffle tix, would have gotten more money out of it.
Wife has MS & is mostly in remission now tho

Barebones Kit - No OS included. WTH? Microsoft could kickin a free OS?

I agree, a raffle would have brought in much more money.

I wonder if the "nerdy" girls in these videos even actually wear glasses...

heh.. Current bid of over 7k.. A raffle would have still been better & nobody would be so grossly overpaying for the system.

I agree on all points, they should also have added a storage HDD.

I also have friends with MS. I don't have the money to bid on an auction, but I could definitely afford some raffle tickets. I'm sure there are a LOT of others in the same situation, especially in today's economy. Spread the news all over the tech sites and it would be like getting lots of small "donations" (raffle) that would most likely add up to much more than 1 fairly large investment (auction).
