Out of the three which one would you suggest?

570 - 270-330

560ti - 240-270

7850 - 250-260

people were saying the 7850 is the best because of overclocking capacity I'm not sure though

edit: Upgrading from a gtx460 768mb... playing @ 1920x1200...

mainly play BF3 / Diablo 3 / Dota 2 / SC2

my 460 pretty much slays everything but BF3 & Skyrim

For best performance, Go with 570. However, the 7850 has really good power and temps and crossfire doesn't seem like a bad option in the future(in terms of heat).

I'd say the 7850 its the newest card out of all those you'll have the latest technology, its much more efficient and a decent over clocker, if the 580 was in the list it would be a tougher decision but the ati still beats it in efficiency

I can't really afford to drop the 350 on the 580 :/

gtx 570 is more powerful than 7850. If you game BF3 7850 is not the best choice . It drops under 25 fps to often in 1080p, ultra, 0xaa in MP even OCed.
gtx 580 is 2x faster when AA and supersameling is on in many games and no comparison between 7850 and 580. Two classes above. Today I bought 7850 TF3 for second PC and it is OK GPU but nothing specal.

i'd go with 560 Ti 448 edition, you save some cash and get 570 performance, all you need to do is overclock it!

Custom pcb HD7850 like the XFX Black edition HD7850 first pick.
2nd pick goes to GTX560ti 448.
3rd goes to GTX 570.

7850 has good power savings but is slower than GTX 570 for same price. I don't believe it OCs great either compared to it's big brother 7870 because they only put 1 6 pin on it. If you check out the reviews it doesnt oc as well. Really it's a tough call.

560tis are only $200 so your pricing seems a little high where you find them. 560ti is best bang for the buck. That's the way it always is tho higher end you go less return per dollar spent. conversely, less you spend more per dollar spent.

570 is pretty expensive compared to 448s which are like only 3% slower for $40 less.

Some ppl think 448 is a good deal since it's like $30 less than 7850 and same performance

I really don't know. All seem like good choices. I chose 448 because I prefer nvidia and thought 570 was to much money and 560ti a little short on performance.

I actually found a gtx480 for 175 here in town was thinking about going that route instead because it's on par with the 570..

i can always put a custom heatsink on later when I want to overclock im guessing I've heard the 480 does pretty well with BF3

175 is a great price for that card. I'd still rather pay more money and get a GTX560ti 448 if you are into over clocking.

It's really hard for me to determine just how good the HD7850 is. The HD7850 is a tough cookie to over clock, has some clock limits that are locked right now. Once the over clocking community figures out how to get passed the locked clocks the HD7850 could be very close in performance to HD7870.

Thats the best deal lol.

@sondra thats why I don't like to recommed 7850.

base starts at 860mhz and they only OC to ~1050mhz, less than 20% oc

base for a 448 is 725Mhz and they have no problem getting 950Mhz, more than 20% oc for a card already a little faster and cheaper.

Many ppl don't know 448s are best ocers of all fermi because so much black space so they run cooler.

I don't know what they did to 7850 but there is no reason it shouldnt OC to 1250mhz like it's big brother. Or higher due to similar black space dissipating heat. But it doesnt. If it did, that would be no brainer.

I think it will over clock to 1200mhz+. A few reviews have over clocked them beyond 1050mhz.

I'm thinking about getting one. I think I could get 1300mhz with water cooling and the right HD7850. The XFX black edition is looking really good at $280 at newegg.

techreport only saw 1050 oC with that particular card. GL but I see reviews average is 1050. I wont buy a purposely crippled product like that. Whatever AMD is doing to them aint right compared to free clocking 7870s

I think it's power. Show me a 7850 with two six pins then you'll see 1250Mhz regularly.

The XFX HD7850 has 2x6pin connectors and an improved power phase PCB.

I hope MSI out does them with a TF3 Power Edition. I have more confidence in TF3 cards but right now the XFX R7850 Black Edition looks like it has the best over clocking potential.

If ASUS can get over 1175 mhz over clock on core I think the XFX with better PCB will go faster.

looking better. I am building a <300w sff portable game box and really didnt want to buy a 7870 for $100 more.

???

The good news is that at that resolution, all of those cards will do great, especially for the games you play, and will be a good amount better than your current card.

If you really need to "slay" Skyrim and BF3 in particular though, you might need to take vram into consideration. 480 has a lot for its price (1.5gb), over the 1.25gb of 560 448 and 570. 7850 has more, but is weaker in performance than the similarly priced 448.

If you don't go nuts from the noise and heat the 480 generates like I did, it'll be the best choice hands down. Next best would be 448, as long as you find it at the lower prices

I'm about ready to post both of my 570's (EVGA vanilla) up for sale if you interested. They do just fine with a single monitor resolutions.. Let me know if interested.

I have the same problem, my 460gtx just cant quite cut it on BF3,even overclocked. i was gonna spring for a 680gtx but my whole system needs an overhaul, so i am considering a 560 ti. just wondering if its a big enough boost for around 250 dollars.

560 ti 448 for battlefield 3 it's like 15% faster than 7850 and almost twice as fast as 460.

I just took a long look at the 560 vs 570. IF you are willing to OC, the 560ti 448 looks like a very good deal. Many reviewers are having very good look at OCing the 560 past 570 levels. Add in the price difference and you've got a good deal.

I also looked at the 7850, but with AMD's driver issues, I was turned off (I have a 6850 and a 460) and the 460 is more stable.

I pulled the trigger on a 560ti 448 from amazon for 239.00 after rebate. reveiws say its a detuned 570 which is 50 dollars more. when i upgrade maybe ill go sli.

Should be a pretty easy overclock to levels beyond a 570. All I did with mine was drag the sliders in MSI Afterburner, didn't have to change voltages or anything. It crashed a few times in Heaven with 850 core, so I backed it down to 825 and it's been rock solid ever since.

A slight bump in voltage and you should be able to run faster and more stable.

I considered it, but I'm happy with how BF3 and everything else is running right now. I have no need to bump it any further.

What kind of voltage bump is safe on a ref 570?

+10% is pretty safe with all hardware (CPUs and GPUs) as in I NEVER heard of an issue. Just do your math right lol.

One thing to keep in mind is 570 default voltage is lower than 580 despite using same core so 10% is really really safe.
