$2 - Subway Combo

There was no limit to this at my local subway, So i got cold cuts for lunch this week.
 
Also as part of their customer appreciation month but not mentioned (probably because nobody ever gets it) is the Veggie Delite 6" for $2. Cool if you're a veggie, I guess.

I had a Cold Cut Combo every day last week, good stuff. Haven't tried the meatball one but it looks disgusting.
 
This is actually a shame for me. I don't eat anything that I haven't seen prepared in front of my with ingredients I didn't buy. Strict Paleo diet. =/
 
Too bad it doesn't apply to their gluten free sandwich, been wanting to try it out. I definitely miss eating at subway,
 
veggie delite rules when you take it home, add pepperoni and cheese :)
 
I just get 2 6" ColdCut Combo's for lunch, only charing me $4. So really nice.
 
The title is sort of misleading... a 6" combo (with chips or cookies and a drink) would be amazing for $2, where the 6" cold cut combo is still nice, but not nearly as cheap.
 
No one here watches TV? I couldn't go 30 minutes during a football game the other day without seeing this commercial no less than 3 times.
 
Had the $2 veggie for lunch today. I'm not sure what else I can even eat these days for $2.
 
I was pleasantly surprised that the meatball marinara sub I ordered today was only $4! I'll be stopping by Subway quite a bit this month and next...
 
The only thing that slightly disturbs me about the cold cut combo is it says in small letters "All meats are turkey based"

That being said I just finished eating one and it was fantastic
 
I think the meatball is great. A little extra sauce. Toasted with provolone and parmesan and a handful of jalapenos.

You do know how cold cuts are made, correct? Same with check nuggets.
 
I'm a huge fan of the meatball sub. Even bigger fan of the pizza sub if you happen to have a location that knows what it is anymore.

I drive by one every day after dropping my daughter off at pre-school on my way to work.

Are you saying you don't like their chicken with the grill marks painted on?

Yea it's gross and made up of intestines, necks, feathers, and whatever else they can chunk in the grinder. But, you you can't bash on some people going in there occasionally and leaving with a 600 calorie meal, instead of the 1200 they would have gotten at burger king, eating a meat patty made out of the same mystery ingredients.

Now the people on a diet, in there eating a footlong chicken bacon ranch with chips and a dr pepper... i can't really sympathize with them.

Some of the stuff we used at taco bell when i worked there was just as bad. Their refried beans came in giant bags and looked exactly like walnuts. Add water and stir for 2 minutes, ta-da !!!
