dell.com - U2412M 24in IPS - $320 + tax

Great screen IMO. For $320 it's a steal...I love mine and I think it's well worth the ~$370 I paid for it a few weeks ago.
 
portrait eyefinity is really cool, but I will say its not without a couple drawbacks.
 
Finally going to replace my old BenQ TN with one of these. I've been on the fence about which direction to go with a new monitor but at this price I can't resist.

mine says its still in production used a credit card. Kinda hope it goes through soon. I bought a sound bar the next day and that already shipped
 
I got mine today and its a great monitor all around. Im coming from an HP TN panel so its a big step up.
 
Got mine today as well. Havent powered it on yet, but it certainly has a real nice stance to it.
 
Mine still says in production :( I really need to try and restrain myself from purchasing more than one of these.
 
Looks great, all I did so far was change brightness down to 35 and contrast up to 85 and its very easy on the eyes.

I'm comin from a TN panel and I mainly game, browse internet, and watch movies. I play a good amount of FPS games too; so I'm kinda scared of the ghosting, anyone test it out on fast-paced games yet? I know the review said it has 9.4ms input lag and it should have no problems with games; but still, just to be sure I'll trust you guys!
 
Looks fine to me, there's a really long thread about it on the display sub forum and I don't remember anyone complaining about ghosting either... Or much of anything really outside the occasional IPS glow. My Monoprice DP cables finally arrived so I'll be hooking up my second one today. Ended up with four cables after a seemingly lost order reappeared, and MP told me to keep them, so if anyone needs 6/10 ft DP cables (white) I'll sell it to ya for $5+S&H. Edit: the cables I got are mini DP to DP btw.

I had an older 2007fp that I have been using for 6 years and I never noticed ghosting and that was rated at 16 ms. On a side note my monitor shipped out this morning at like 2 am from TN I ordered it on Sunday night
 
yeah everything i have read points to this: if the ports are sufficient it is an amazing LCD (minus the occasional IPS glow)

i have had every port possible available to me on my current LCD and i have never used anything but DVI

Both of mine shipped early this morning too. FedExGrnd has no info on the tracking numbers yet. Boo!
 
maybe they had to make a batch and now shipments are going out ... hopefully i won't have to wait as long for mine to get shipped since i ordered last night.

i'll admit it, i had buyers remorse this morning, but as the day wears on i like the purchase.

I ordered on Sunday it shipped out Thursday morn and its on FedEx truck for delivery friday(today) I'm happy sincerity was the 7 day shipping and all Dell had me set to get it on monday
 
Deal is still good, I put in an order for one just now. This will be my first "quality" monitor since I've always gone with cheap TN panels (aside from the iMac I had which is why I can't go back to cheap TN panels ha).
 
I got mine going today, Great monitor its nice how it barely gets warm to the touch not like my old 2007fp. The new LED backlight is nice and the colors are great just need to turn down brightness at the start
 
Wow... I ordered this yesterday morning and it's already out for delivery today... and I chose the 7-day free shipping :)

nvm... it's now been scheduled for delivery next business day.. but still that's pretty awesome!
 
Mine were showing to be delivered on Monday, but they tried to deliver yesterday, but I wasn't home so no signature. Grrr! I even have the waiver for FedEx. Work from home Monday!

yeah i moved my server & VoIP setup to tuesday. will be sitting at home monday finishing up website design while i wait. luckily for me, fedex has never delivered later than 11am here.
