I was just checking to see if the price droped since I bit last week and what a surprise. Now the game is worth buying even if theres no DX11!

Why is the game that bad? Maximum PC magazine gave them a '9' on this game.

I think $30 is finally a fair price considering...

Maybe if the DX11 support was sorted out I'd bite... more so just to have something to fiddle with... I'm not that interested in the game.

Waiting for the Steam Bargain bin. Nothing against the game but I got over playing new games within the first year awhile ago.

That is a good price though since this got released pretty recently.

Thanks. The game was fine. Most people who are bitter probably have not even played the game. They are still bitching that the game must be crap because OMG, it is a console port. They are not real gamers because real gamers play the god damn game and don't waste all their time and effort in forums complaining and refusing to play the game.

I loved the game - can't wait for DX11 updates. I'll reply it again. Bunch of bitching Sallys on this forum.

More like real gamers expect the devs to actually make a game worth playing. Nice that you are all into accusing everyone who didn't buy Crysis 2 of not being "real" gamers. More like they are the people who expected better things from Crytek considering it was PC gamers that put them on the fucking map.

The only reason Crysis 2 had any leg to stand on in the first place was due to the PC gamers (the real gamers) that talked up the original Crysis. Who in their right mind would expect Crytek to take a step back with Crysis 2? I can understand that they wanted to market the game to a larger audience, but if they intended to do that in the first place they should have had two separate teams working on Crysis 2 (one for PC and one for consoles).

I don't consider it wasted time or effort voicing my opinion that the game is barely worth $15. If DX11 was implemented at launch and the texture packs were what they should have been then I likely would still only spend $30-40 on the game. Keep throwing your money at devs that have thrown PC gamers under the bus though. Good to know you are only fanning the flame

EDIT: I have actually played the game on a buddy's xbox. Nothing impressive. Looks good on consoles, but the sad thing was realizing it wouldn't look any better on a PC.

As I said, strong sense of entitlement among disgruntled PC gamers.

We made you, we can also destroy you by not buying your game.

We deserve DX11, we deserve better textures,...

I remember reading a thread in the games forum of a developer saying that half the joy of moving over to consoles is because they no longer have to deal with unappreciative PC games. And you know what? He was 100% correct.

Nice to know you will continue sucking on that tit. I bet you like COD: Black Ops too

Also, if the devs shouldn't care about these unappreciative PC gamers; why are they bothering with DX11 at all?

+ 1 I couldn't agree more.

Developers deserve every bit of negative criticism that they receive by releasing bug ridden broken games that require heavy patching for the next 18 months and the game is still in shambles.

On top of that they try to carrot in every noob that they can get their paws on. Selling them on false hopes and a promise that they title will not be a console port. Without a demo and only fake rendered footage to sell the gamers on, these noob are feed nothing but sugar coated shit. And they buy into it. Pre-ordering with mommies credit card. 3 months later everyone wonders where when the community will start up.

This crap is getting old. Bring on the days of PC gaming where a title failed because of their gameplay, not but because they are considered a watered down console port. The market is over saturated with sub par content. They need to focus on fewer quallity titles, not a mess of crappy console ports that leave only the AAA titles like COD with a community standing.

IMO if the PC community really doesn't pull in enough profit to stand on its own, then stop making pc games.

+1. Glad there is at least one person with some self-respect and common sense on this forum. :D

Not really sure what you mean here. I like Crysis 2 as do a number of PC gamers. I WANT to play it on a PC because even though the DX 9 version was targeted at consoles it still plays a LOT better on PCs. It seems that some PC gamers think that PC games have to be something that apparently not enough PC gamers are willing to spend money on so this is why we have ports. I'd rather have the ports that play WAY better on a PC than totally hapless consoles.

Would I like better PC games? I'd like anything better, but not enough people are going to pay for it, plain and simple when a developer can make less steller content and sell it for more money with less issues of piracy on consoles.

lol the multiplayer is dead already? How's that working out for you Crytek?

Oh yeah I forgot, fuck Crytek, I wouldn't buy this game at $5
