The only console game I've ever played in earnest...

I played the bioshock games thru a cpl of times on my ps3, I loved the imerssiveness of Rapture. I played Dantes and Darksiders to completion and I have a large back log of unplayed games like the assasins creed and God of war games, and about 10 more games I'm wantining to get, but console games can be addicting .

You have to mod the OS of your wii, iirc, and then install a special module of code to your brawl startup files or maybe even store a version of the game locally. I played it for a while at a buddy's house one time. He was trying to convince me that it was worth switching over, but there seemed (to me at least) to be almost no point in switching over. Nothing to be gained except for a different character set, or so it seemed, and that's not really a gain given the metaknight fiasco.

Regardless though, Melee feels worlds better to me in general. The combos are delicious. The physics in melee feel the best out of the three games, imo, and things like soft shielding, wavedashing/landing, the intricate DI, the read-centric chaingrabbing, the huge risk/reward, and tons of other things just make it a much more satisfying game than Brawl or SSB64, with my personal order being SSBM>SSB64>almost anything>SSBB. SSBB feels like a party game. Melee feels like a martial art.

It's a program called Smash Stack, and the easiest way to play modded smash is just to install the homebrew channel, install Gecko then load up the modded version of Smash on it.

Honestly Smash Brothers Brawl in it's native form is far too defensive and too slow, Brawl Minus fixes these problems very nicely by buffing up all the characters and making them actually Super. It is by far my preferred method for Smash Brothers Brawl and think Brawl minus is even superior to Melee in terms of Balance and speedy matches and Melee was very awesome.

Once you get your Wii set up for Smash it's a simple procedure of clicking on the homebrew channel then clicking on gekko then the modified version of smash loads.

I think I'm the only person that doesn't enjoy super smash brothers. I can't get into it at all.

I find Soul Calibur and Street Fighter far more fun.

I like both Street FIghter and Soul Calibur but I've never been into either of those games as much as Smash.

Your definitely not alone, tried playing it on the Wii again recently and I think it's a mess. Nintendo should stick to platformers and racers IMO :D
