Should I Buy or Wait? 980x

I have the opportunity to pick up this system for $1500:

i7 980x w/ Corsair H50 cooler
8GB Corsair Dominator Memory
Gigabyte MB
GTX 480
80GB SSD
Corsair PSU
Creative XFi sound card
Big Cooler Master case

Do you guys think its worth it? or should I wait for Sandy Bridge.

Looks like a good buy to me, I'm assuming the Corsair is of a decent wattage and the Gigabyte MB is enthusiast class and memory is 1600mhz.
 
I would say its a good buy.. I would pass on it still though because your paying still way more of a premium for the 980x then its worth.. but still not bad..
 
If you can get the receipts for all those parts so that you can claim warranty later on, decent enough deal.
 
I got more info on the components and I talked the guy down to $1400.

The memory is TR3X6G1600C8D so it's only 6GB not 8GB.

The PSU is an HX1000.

The MB is an GIGABYTE GA-X58A-UD3R.

The SSD is an Intel SSDSA2M080G2GC.

The case is COOLER MASTER HAF 932 RC-932-KKN1-GP .

My goal with this machine is to get to 4.5Ghz stable. Do you guys think this board can do that?
 
Awesome, Thanks for your input, you made my decision easier. He also just mentioned the graphics card might be eligible for a step up to a 580.
