mlb 2k10 pc for $2.99 on 3/5 gamestop.com digital download

The keyboard controls for this game a pretty bad and I dont have a gamepad
 
I had last year's version of this game and really enjoyed it. It was well worth the $20 or $30 I paid for it then.

i figured i would give it a try...but the password they sent to my email isn't working and the downloader open's but my modem shows no activity.
 
No support...i got a new password sent that works and can log into my account. Downloader is still doing nothing.
 
what account are you talking about? I don't believe I set up an account
 
If you have $15 or so spare bucks lying around, I can't recommend the Logitech Dual Action gamepads enough.
 
That would be the digital download account...you signed yourself up with your order. Password comes in the email they send you.

oh interesting. I saw that but I didn't use it.

I just clicked on the "Download" button on the final checkout screen at gamestop.com
It launched the downloader and I now have the game sitting on my desktop
 
awesome....too bad my downloader is open but doesn't do anything. haha..i'm in no rush to play i have the game for xbox 360....but hope it does work at some point.
Maybe its revenge for not buying the download insurance for 3 bucks...no clue.
 
just played a little for the first time - it's pretty fun, but aside from some quasi-helpful youtube vids, there's no tutorial, which is silly considering the extent of the game.
 
I've figured out some things but I'm still not sure how to get to the screen to adjust the lineup before the start of a game.

I have (two of) the logitech dual action pad that I use for all my sports games. They work well.

About ordering I just hit download and it downloaded the downloader program. Once I ran that the game downloaded and then installed. No account. The serial I used when installing the game.
 
my download is sitting steady at 400kb/s, hopefully done tonight

I had the same problem. Then I looked at my statement online and they billed me a bunch of times and no game. Anyone who had this problem look at your account activity.

I posted about this earlier. Same issue. I tried several gift cards and my regular cards. No response from support either. I sent two requests.
 
Worked for me. I paid once, then downloaded. Left it going before bed, and installed this morning.

FYI, the download will fill a double sided DVD. Make sure you have one before you try to burn a "backup" of your download. :)

2nd FYI, the retail CD key they give you in the email WILL NOT activate on Steam. I was hoping maybe it would.
 
purchased this game, for 3 bucks, its worth every penny, i played baseball my whole life, not as much now, but i can still hit home runs out of my local high school field, i believe its 380 feet to left center with a 25 foot high fence.

Hmm, I bought it and it worked fine, then I tried to gift it to a friend and it didn't work, so I tried a few more times... wonder if they all got charged anyways.

Well if they did, I could take them all and hand them out to friends I suppose. I'd rather do that than get charged a bunch of times for NO game :confused:

i would be really pissed, because i sure didnt get any emails about the charges or any game keys. im not even going to possibly ruin my night by looking... ill leave it for the weekend.
 
I still haven't gotten the download to work...but i do have the cd key in my email whenever if i ever get it. I only ran my card once and only got charged once....its the freakin downloader that isn't doing squat for me.
 
it looks like i got lucky and downloaded it early, it took about 30minutes to download, game aint bad...

Had same problem until I disabled Eset-Anti Virus;)
