Anyone else plan on getting this beast ? I am up for a new phone a.s.a.p. my BB 9700Bold has major issues with disconnects 90% of the time, and overall a piece of crap. And I need a new phone bad, like yesterday. I am on T-Mobile

What option should I go with ? I have the itch to buy something NOW :D

- Get the new HTC-HD2 this week ?

- Get the T-Mobile version Nexus-One ?

- I have an old iPhone3G that I think I can get to work on my T-Mo SIM card, get that working for now and wait for the Supersonic ?

all i am going to say "ITS WAY 2 BIG FOR POCKET PHONE" in mine opinion..
battery life on that must be horrible! Charge it every 2-4h it would sux for me! I think nexus1/iphone size phones are perfect for pocket, even supersonic spec might be little to big.

It certainly looks good, that's for sure. But I couldn't see myself dropping back down to Winmo 6.5. I'm certainly looking forward to the Supersonic now, though.

I'm kind of more excited for the phones like the Droid Eris to drop in price with these new releases. I mean those things are huge. I don't want a phone that big.

I don't think I'd want Windows Mobile 6.x. I'm using it now and...ehh.

It really depends on the phone. You really need some horsepower to make it work well. I put it on the HTC Titan with the 400mhz Qualcomm processor, and it was terribly slow.

Yeah I have the HTC touch. 400mhz of not so much power.

I've had mine for about two weeks now. Love it. Watched Hurt Locker on it, drained only 33% battery. Left it on idle for 4 hours, drains only 2% with the 2.09.51 Radio ROM. (Using stock WWE 1.66 ROM and tweaked that no auto update is on), I love the PSX emulator on it, I have FFIX on it at the moment.

Anyway, the 4.3" screen helps when I use it as a Navigator inside the car. (Googlemaps at the moment, but I just downloaded TomTom software)

I hardly use or see the WinMo 6.5 stuff, most of the time, you'll be using all the HTC Sense interface that comes on top of WinMo. The speed of the Snapdragon proc really shines on this phone.

Get bigger pockets ;)

Does Walmart sell the unsubsidized version so I can run this on AT&T?

I went by my walmart yesterday morning after seeing that vid on Gizmodo / Engadget and they had never heard of it lol.

Come wednesday I shall have mine.

What ever happened have they released this phone yet?? If not when

Phone is sold out but should be easy to pick up this week with tons of returns. I can't count how many posts I have seen on different sites with people unhappy with the HD2 . Pick up an Android phone instead like the Nexus-One it is a better phone and even more so rooted + Sense-UI
