Just a heads up folks, rant here in a central spot if you feel the need.

Several severs have been unable to assign work for several hours and include ATI, SMP, and Classic client servers. Many rumors are flying about as to why but there has been no official statement from Vijay and Co. yet. NVIDIA and PS3 appear to be unaffected as I am getting work from them just fine.

If I hear more, I will post it.

Yeah, I was just trolling the eVGA forums to check if there was an issue with the VM/client, apparently I'm not the only one with issues. (Just got the q9450 relocated and anxious to put up some points)

Like you - no problems with my GPU2 client grabbing WU's for this 8800GT, but the VM gets nothing. Ah well at least hockey is on. Go Blues! :D

I got a 1920 point WU instead of a bigadv. Anyone else see this? I can confirm that the client is set properly (using Linux Router's 0.6 image).

I noticed this. I have two quads sitting with no work and it looks like I'll have a third with no work soon enough.

Just a friendly kick in the balls to make us all remember who's in charge, right VJ? :D

I got new work on my bigadv rig, but it was a regular Linux WU instead. It tried for a bigadv wu 13-14 times, and then picked up a 1920point one.

You guys saying you are still getting none at all?

I've had one system sitting idle for at least a couple hours now. I'm not sure when another sent its last work unit back but it's been idle for a while as well. As for my main machine, it could be idling in another half hour.

Your going to start freezing soon.

Isn't your APT heating system based on your boxen?

Yep...zilch. :( (SMP/VM)
nVidia cards are happily chugging along, finishing WU's and pulling new ones though for me.

CPU's though are sitting idle. (Well my q9450 is...my i7 is still working on the bigadv it grabbed yesterday and it's around 60% so it still has work to do before trying to grab a new WU.)

I will check my ATI/notfred VM box when I get home. All I can do from work is look at my output via the stats page.

well I have 2 of 4 SMP clients down waiting. Apparently been "waiting" for a long damn time. My Big WU is about to drop and hopefully this is resolved by then, but apparently I shouldn't hold my breath.

Got the slow SMP VM still churning, the Q6600 SMP VM is stuck waiting for new work too.

Thank God for gpu2 clients otherwise today would be a total bust.

Unfortunately, I no longer have a place of my own, but yes, boxen are a big part of my heating scheme, even in the house I'm living in now. All I can say is that it's a good thing the temps got a lot warmer here in the last couple of days. I can't technically freeze because of that since it's above freezing and should stay just around freezing for the low. Definitely a hell of a lot better than the subzero temps we had over the weekend. Even the boxen were having a hell of a time keeping up with that one.

I take that back...
Today is a bust. :(

Now nV gpu2 is not connecting to work servers either.

Ack I'm going to bed. :(

Well, my three SMP clients managed to pick up work in the last hour hour or so. Hopefully it will stay this way.

One of my bigadv rig has been without work for the last 8 hours but has finally grabbed one.
All my GPU clients have been chugging away ok, I think.

So this is fixed? Well see a drop today and slightly the next too because I feel we are more CPU based than gpu
Good to see they are back up

Yeah, looks to be back to normal; woke up this morning and checked and all my clients were chugging along normally. :)
