Show Your LCD(s) setups!!!

This is how a Pro quotes posts......Think I know how to multi-quote? :p.
p.s. Yes some of these quotes are a month old, but they're all in a consecutive order.

Working on building a new desk. Ikea galant frame and legs with a oak 4'x8' top cut down to fit and ebony stain.

Looks really good. Now we can have the best of both worlds.....I custom made my desk out of wood, and might stain it Ebony someday(I like plain wood, to an extent, black would be good now).

Nice garage. Awesome work.
Superb CM! I build all of my own furniture so I'll be making something similar to that Ikea wire cradle myself(except in black, and made out of Angle Iron or such). Money & time is tight right now so it might be a week. Hmm, you mentioned it might work w/ any desk/table, & I looked @ the pictures. I might get 1 and paint it black. Oh, did you get a different wire cradle? This one is $10 but only 27.5" long: http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/50035115

prolifik, can you post a picture of the top of your Ikea Wire Cradle right where it's supposed to attach to the underside of a table, please? Thnx.

Here's my setup; 40" Samsung 756 and 22" Samsung 225BW:

Watching Eagle Eye? I'm guessing because I haven't seen it & there's that kid from Disturbia & Transformers.
May I ask what you're watching in the quoted pic?

Dust buildup makes any setup look bad.
Dust buildup can also hamper cooling or fry parts.
got a new benq 24inch :) so happy

Not a bad setup. Can we see behind your desk or what your PC is sitting on? Thnx.

32 with only 1920x1080: isn't that irritating for PC use

I have a 30" with 2560x1600 and wish it was smaller.

you get used to it.. I could barely stand windows on my westy 37 but it's grown on me quite a bit... it's not an ideal res for that amount of LCD real estate for sure, but it's not hard to look at by any means.. and games look amazing on it.

I have a Westinghouse 42 inch. I hate it. It will not power on unless I unplug it first. It also has horrible banding on light colored screens. Have had major problems with HDMI. Any device that I connect over HDMI has random pixels that only display a pink color. Have tried multiple cables and multiple devices, same results. I have called tech support, and I have to say that it was very easy to get through to a rep. They have been promising to send someone out to fix it under warranty since the beginning of 2007. No one has shown up yet. I have called multiple times and I am getting tired of messing with it. My brother had a 21 inch Westy and after a few days it would not accept any signal from any inputs. It was still within its return period, he took it back. I am sure many people have had good results with Westinghouse, and yes they are priced very well, but I will never recommend one and I will never own another.
This is just my 2 cents.

Arch Enemy are awesome. Who's the band on the right? Looks really familiar.

EDIT: nm, I think it's Walls of Jericho

You would be correct, that is Walls of Jericho. Heard their cover of House Of The Rising Sun? Damn good.

And yes, Arch Enemy is amazing. Absolutely my favorite metal band. Doesn't hurt that I just enjoy their genre in general. Gothenburg / Melodic Death or whatever you want to call it. Also, you just gotta love Angela in general. She's so badass.

go cyclones! are you using that to do anything, or is it really just a table?

A fellow cyclone? word.

with 3x 750W power supplies (that are probably about 40% efficient!), I can't even turn it on in my apartment or the breakers trip :p

I'll probably toss a mini-ITX system into the empty drive bay and figure out something fun to do with that though :D

matrix, is that screen angle uncomfortable? Id feel like im in a cubicle or something, and i don tknow how you could use those if they were at such a steep angle..

they can definitely come out some, i just scrunched them together for the shot :)

Hey I don't know about VESA-stuff or anything but would that fit my Asus VW193D? It has 4 screwholes in the back :p I think it's VESA 100mm

i cant say much about their customer service but i work in a facility housing (if i had to guestimate) 8000 NEC's of all sorts (LCD1970VX, LCD1860NX, and 1760VM's) flat screens and the same number of newer HP LP1965's after working with these for the past 2/3 years I can honestly say i wish there were no security cameras on site. I have only seen a handfull with tags saying broken and even then its mostly the angry user. just fyi
