nice, always like the verts... I got the car very cheap. Once I get the engine stuff hopefully I can get it to a dyno and tune the Microtek I have sitting in my tool box.
Love me some rotaries... but coming from 240sx, sr20, rb20, rb25... these are very expensive cars if you want them to run right!

My desk will be fairly simple, just dont have much time right now, and I've got to go pick up materials. Plans will be use braces and either a counter top or solid wood door and fasten it to studs. I dont like the idea of legs to hit my... uh... legs on so this will do. will cut a few holes in the back for cable management. should be pretty cheap too (<$100), and when you're like me and spend all your money on cars and tools, the pc budget is pretty tight!:cool:
 
my desk budget is tight right now, i wanted a Ikea Jerker but have yet to find one. I say go with a counter top. Right now im usin one of those folding desk.

Yeah, they're not quite as heavy as real piano keys would be, but they still have some weight to them. They feel real nice for piano type stuff, and are also fine for synth. A hardcore pianist probably wouldn't be as fond of the keys for a real in depth piano performance, but for me it's perfect. Overall, I like the M-Audio a lot. It's treated me well, haha.

I beg anybody to find me this beast ass desk :( - Everything else is most likely fake, unless theres some secret compartment in the back to put your computer in... But if that desk is real, I WANT!

Just assuming it was for their shoot, not a single cable from the monitor, no power outlet/source etc.

I have the same desk and I really want to move the left leg over like you did so I can fit my chair underneath (I already ripped the CD cage out). Would you say that the strength or stability of the desk were affected much?

Hey Clock3... excellent setup you got there, and great taste too if I may add.
That acoustic guitar you got is beautiful, I love the inlay in the fretboard. I was looking into getting an M-Audio 25 Key controller pretty soon to play around with. I love the speakers too ;) and for some strange reason that poster reminds my of butt... I have that same wallpaper stored somewhere on my hard drive... I personally like "The Wall" girl :D
Nice job on the V1000 too.
 
Hey, thanks TBK. Yeah, I couldn't pass the speakers up for $50. They sound really good. I did notice you had them at one point. I remember seeing them in this thread or the Lian Li. Now you use them as rears or something from what I recall reading.

Also, narlzac85, I don't think it affected the strength at all to be honest. I've had the desk like that for years and I've also moved two times while having it, and it hasn't given me any problems. You shouldn't have any problems with it.

thanks man, glad you like it, haha. also, i got the poster at a small music store near where i live. they have tons of posters and a bunch of the large ones like that. That's where I got the huge mars volta one as well.

allposters has it at 55x40 (which i think is what that one is in the pic) here
 
hahaha yea i totally need an update got 2 much work tho i think ill be getting to it with in next month making a new setup

I get terrible lighting for pics in this room (lots of natural light be too many reflections), but I think you get the idea....

Sauron is from Entertainment Earth, specifically Gentle Giant. And yes, that is a solid brass 20 side, that is truly the way I roll =-)

Long time no update;

I know its rather a silly idea to have a projector on a subwoofer, I'm going to get a mount for it shortly, I'm using little bass anyway so it doesn't matter. Projector is a
Optoma HD700X.

Thanks, Its still a work in progress, but everything is finally unpacked, now i just need to get some stuff up on the walls.

Anyone know any cool places to get decorating stuff around the Indianapolis area (we still have no chairs for our kitchen table, so cheap furniture stores are good too )

Its rather silly to have a projector on top of a subwoofer on top of a table. Put the subwoofer on the ground already!
