Interplay Re-Opens, Plans to revive Descent, MDK & Earthworm Jim Franchises! WOOT!

yeah descent was one of those perfect examples of "its about the gameplay stupid"
 
I really liked MDK 1+2 and always thought Earth Worm Jim was a really fun game and IP.

I am happy...MDK with a newer engine will be fun hopefully :)
 
I liked Decent, but I LOVED Decent: Freespace. I really, really hope they make a new updated multiplayer version. I would love to get my buddies together to do missions online.
 
If earth worm jim came out for the Wii that would rock swinging his wormness around with the wii mote. I might actually buy a wii for that.
 
My dream is that bullfrog and SSI companies will someday revive. Loved their games way back when and would love to see some remakes. Good news on interplay tho if it works out.

I would love to see an MDK game with Havok (or some other) physics engines, make it a little more sandbox with lots of tall structures to parachute from.

Hmmm MDK is on gametap i'm pretty sure......*goes to fire up gametap*
 
WoW havent used my 360 in 8 months lol but I would definitely buy a new ewj or even play it on arcade as the old version :)

QFT! Man I loved that game! They could really do an amazing version of that game with the types of graphics engines out now too.

SACRIFICE 2 ftw!
 
Oo how I would love another Descent. I Descent was good, but Descent 2 for me was the best, Guide Bot and the level design was great, fun music mixed with good AI and a mother that liked to creap up on me made for some great times :D

I liked Descent 3 but it didnt flow quite like the older ones, however the story went much farther and adding surface battles was a good idea. I cannot wait for another one :D
