Parents of daughters take note: The Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert Tour Blu-ray release is scheduled on Aug. 19 and will feature a high-definition industry first: 2-D and 3-D viewing options. No details yet on whether the glasses will be included.

Tech specs reveal Disney's plans to present a first-ever 3-D Viewing Mode on the disc, along with a 2-D version as well, both in 1080p video. Audio boasts uncompressed PCM 7.1 Surround audio.

I really really really wanna see Meet The Robinsons in 1080p surround sound 3d, like how i did at the theatre.

DisneyDigital3D is just right for cinematics :)

I babysit a little girl that LOVES Hannah Montana, so I watch a lot of it. It's great for little girls. She seems like a good influence on them. No sluttyness, no drugs, no alcohol. Just a good girl.

I couldn't stand her until I saw the show.
 
It would be nice if there was a good influence rather than train wreck trashy skank Britney. I agree though, what does this have to do with Hard?
 
I think robot chicken did a good sketch on the "can't wait till she's 18" thing that some 'tards like to spout.

shes in her teens, they aren't pedo's they are straight... it's basic human evolution (unless you are into the whole intelligent design thing).

Men will seek younger (BUT DEVELOPED) girls as they have a better chance to produce a healthy continuation of the bloodline.

It doesn't come out as that in todays modern world but there is a genuine basis for it.

Unlike most of the wannabe pedos, Im actually excited about this release, for my daughter.

She went to the concert, which sold out in record time btw, then we went to see the 3-D movie of the concert. Little did I know before we got there, that the tickets were $15 each, so there goes $60, not counting food. So we'll get this BR when its available.. and spend several hundred dollars on just one of her concerts in total. Hannah is raking in the cash, but my daughter enjoys her, and Im all about doing things to make my daughter happy.
 
Sigh, my 6 y/o has just discovered Hanna Montana... Still, it's better than Drake and Josh... I think.....


What ever happened to Bugs Bunny / Warner Brothers on Saturday??? I do miss those though (Dating myself with that comment)

bugs bunny is too violent for our poor poor children, everything is too violent. we must protect our children, can't let them know the difference from fantasy and reality nope nope

personally i was a roadrunner and coyote fan, but enjoyed my bug/daffy/elmer dynamics

well thats not teaching girls about real life at all.
 
to those criticizing all the overprotection these men are giving their daughters.. understand, that even if your daughter never develops the full concept of all the bad things that are out there... the person she will seek out for her mate will be the embodiment of her father... and if I had a daughter, I would sure hope her husband would treat her as I had. This doesnt apply if you sucked as a dad, and you know who you are, and at that point you must introduce them to some of the harsher realities of life so she doesnt repeat YOUR mistakes.

I dont even have a kid, I've thought this out way too far.

i'm nothing like my fiances father. i mean we are both dicks...but in totally different ways.

as for my kids, talk about the real world at 8, R rated movies at 10, porn at 13. Of course its up to them if they want to or not. No forcing, but if they are down then i'm not going do the whole blanket effect that this world has going on now.

Fantasy happy G rated land til 19, then therapy and anti depressants til 60... no way to raise a kid, keep the puritan bs out of my house, screw disney...
 
Porn is a bit hardcore at 13, but I agree that kids should be exposed to the real world and not sheltered from reality (like most parents try to do). More often than not, the more you shelter a child from reality, the more they will defy you...

My daughter is almost 10. Despite her friends all being big Hanna Montana fans, she doesn't like her because "Hanna Montana sucks!" On her 9th birthday, she asked for concert tickets to Evanescence which I graciously provided.

Let's face it, Hanna Montana (Miley Cyrus), is nothing more than a continuation of Billy Ray Cyrus' fallen career. Her vocals fall between that of a prepubescent teen and a kazoo. If you've ever listened to her without remix and background vocals, she sounds absolutely horrible.

Have you ever sat down and watched some of the crap Disney is putting out? High School Musical, Hanna Montana, Zach and Cody, WTF! These shows are absolutely horrible! Minus the laughter tracks, which they play every 15 seconds, the shows are absolutely mind numbing to watch. But hey, if it makes money, Disney would put Mickey ears on a piece of turd...

HAHAAHA for now. Wait till she turns 18. There goes the cloths and she will be making music videos in a sports bra and thong.

It seems to be the trend now a days. the sluttier they can get the better. At least thats what they think. It is not what us parents think though

Yep me too! You can catch some of the older cartoons on if your lucky, but I have yet been able to see any roadrunner cartoons for ages :(
