q6700 $350?? But Out of Stock

IIRC, its not less than this, in fact its like 200 more than this.
 
Looks like some price confusion with the E6700. Good for you if you got in on one though :).
 
Its like $533 for a Q6700. I think Ill take a stab at this.
 
it let me order one, so I'm taking a shot. DON'T GET CRAZY with multi-quantity orders, etc. so some of us can get in on the deal!
 
From what I gathered through googling this is guaranteed to be G0 which makes sense since it is a new chip.

Maybe they're planning to sell that for now >.> as long as they don't have a msg saying they can charge you whatever if you chose to purchase it then it should be good right? I mean its either oyu get it at that price or not at all, might as well try right?
 
Costcentral is legit so there isnt much risk. Worst case scenario the order is canceled.

Reasonable deal if G0. Otherwise no way. G0 is too close.

Exactly. I ordered one and I'm crossing my fingers. Remember, DON'T CALL, and don't order 10. They may cancel, or we may get through... every bit of caution helps.

OP, can you remove hotlink and just put URL up so people have to copy/paste and this place doesn't see a whole bunch of traffic from HF?
 
Id jump in for one but Ill let you guys have the fun. EVERYTIME I do something like this all of the orders end up getting canceled in an hour or so.

Look at their terms, as I posted above. They have until "order fulfillment" to cancel an order. Until they actually get the CPUs back in stock and ship them out, they can cancel.

Someone at CostCentral confused the Q6700 and E6700. This is an honest error, which far too many people seem eager to take advantage of, and I don't doubt CostCentral is going to take a beating with vindictive "bait-and-switch!!1!1" reviews on resellerratings in the next week.

Why do you guys think this is extraordinary? Isn't that the price the Q6700 will be anyhow after 07/22?

I don't see the big attraction at this point....

Me too, but email confirmations don't really mean anything. I've gotten email confirmations on pricing errors before, only to have them send a cancellation email at a later date. I hope we get them, but I don't think we will. But, I got my email confirmation already as well, so I got my fingers crossed.
 
Nice price, but why pay $100 more for just 200mhz more. Wait for july and get Q6600.
 
Nevermind, i got the prices mixed up. this one is $350 and not $530. lol....seems to me somone made a mix up with the "3" and the "5"....

Q6700 is scheduled to drop to $530 I believe. Q6600 will be $266. I have no idea why Intel plans on such a massive price difference.

Correct me if I am wrong, butI thought the Q6700 is a new model that is not currently available. It should be the same as the QX6700, except the the Q6700 will be multiplier lock. The price will be $530 starting July 22nd, according to this chart.
 
well i called in and asked the ETA for it he said no ETA but confirmed the price of $350.54
