So, who really "finished" Prey?

I tend to stick around for the credits on games these days since sometimes there's something else after the credits...like the sneak peek of HL2: Ep. 2 at the end of episode 1.

Did you finish Prey? I mean, "really" finish it?

yup...good ending...good yet rather brain racking cliffhanger...mainly because i wanted to know more... heh :)

I always watch the ending credits. I figure that if I have made the effort to beat a game I sure as hell am going to see it through to the end.

I just have the last two levels to go. I will be finished with it tomorrow.

The game would have been a lot better without the spaceship levels. I hate that damn thing.

Agreed. The game at first really felt fresh and interesting. Then it started to feel jsut like Doom 3 all over again.

ill 3rd that.. the spaceships stuff was cool for the first couple times...but like quake 4... they make it repetitive... very repetitive...

The ending looked like it would match with Turok 2.

... So far im having fun playing quake4. I just got to the part where I was strapped down and things happened. Im enjoying it so far. :D

Yeah, the ending after the credit is okay, I was expecting a bit more than that. Yeah I agree with the spaceship part, they used it WAY too much, just like the anti-grav puzzles in the beginning. I really felt that they could've done some innovative puzzles with the spirits walk, but all the puzzles in the game that involve the spirit walk was "walk through force field or magical bridge and hit a switch". They also made it a bit too easy by telling you where to use the spirit walk with the symbol.

Overall, Prey's a solid game but WAY too short. I beat it in 6 hours, hopefully Prey 2 doesn't take another 10 years.

Dammit I skipped the credits too. Ill have to load up the last auto save.

I'm thinking of buying Prey, how long of a game is it, and does it have any Starforce copy protections in it? Looks pretty fun :D!

I beat it in 6 hours, not rushing or anything, and nah, it doesn't use Starforce.

You guys who beat it in six hours must have run through it regardless if you think you did or not.

What do you mean run through it? Prey is so linear, the only way to extend the playing time is if you get stuck at solving puzzles. Also, because of Prey's death system, there's no need to reload a previous game and therefore, no need to backtrack to where you died. 6 hours isn't even that fast, I got stuck at a puzzle or two, I've seen people finished the game in 5 hours easily.

well it wasn't revolutionary, but the game was still one of the most sturdiest and responsive games i've even played. Not one crash or slow down, frame rates were incredible. and i thought the secret ending was awesome too, it made the game seem really epic.
