Okay, i know the usual checks, but i need to check if this HDD is now dead too
i just went through this same exact thing with my WDD HDD and now i'm going through the same exact thing except this time..
my little sister wanted to use my computer, i said sure but be VERY CAREFUL of the extension cord (it's touchy, and if you bump it right it'll shut the computer off) so of course. she bumped it. i turned it back on and about 2-3 minutes later, did it again and i got the BSOD "unmountable boot device" so with it getting shut down hard both times that quick, could it have screwed my HDD? or would it have just screwed with my boot.ini file?
