I believe they said it wouldn't be any more expensive then X yen, where X yen = $220. There was also a statement saying that it would be no more than $250.Firewall said:I was hoping for $220.....
To? It's already the cheapest console by a longshot.Erasmus354 said:Ok, waiting for a price drop then.

Anyway, $250 isn't the set price in my eyes, not until Nintendo officially announces a price with a release date. They've only said it'll cost NO MORE than $250. Could still be $200, I think they're waiting to see if Microsoft drops the price on the Xbox 360 core to decide whether to charge $250 or $200.

The 360 core console hardly counts as it's gimped. You have to buy the $400 model to take full advantage of it, just like the $600 PS3. The Wii, on the other hand, provides the full experience at $250.Erasmus354 said:249 is hardly a longshot, that would be cheapest by 50$. And that is without MS making a price drop. If the Wii is 249 it wouldn't surprise me if MS made a 50$ price drop at least on the core so you have the choice of a Wii or a 360 at the same price.
Personally I am not going to buy it for any more than 199, more likely will wait for it to be 149.
Because graphical horsepower is really all that matters... You could say that the 360 is horribly overpriced for the lack of innovation brought to the table, it's just an upgraded Xbox.theNoid said:Its also horribly overpriced for the hardware/capabilities included. My 360 has my undivided attention for the moment.

Here's the original newsfactor article, but it looks like pure speculation. My money's still on $200.

You don't have to wave them around like some hyperactive evangelical christian in order to use the controller. You may have to mimic real life things (swinging a tennis racket, for example), but beyond that you don't end up waving your arms in the air.diehard said:Some people don't consider waving their arms around in the air "innovation"
