Ok so ive gotten most of the large bubbles out and about all that remains is really fine bubbles. Also seemed to look like a film of very fine bubbles are sticking to the inside of the tubing and the inside of the vid card heat sink. Im sure with time these will go away. So far No leaks. I ended up using the res and the bleed valve on my rad to get most of the larger ones out. Think I just might shut it off for a bit and let them settle and then bleed it some more. Definitly have no prob with flow. I havent seen any air bubbles stick to anything but the very fine ones that are in the tubing and such. I cant run it with the lid off cause I do Have a tube and my res is horizontal. so away we go. And yes the Pics are Fooking commig bro!!!

when I was setting up my system I had to pour water into the aquatube, then let it settle, then add water, etc for quite a while. To get rid of the small bubbles I just kept it off 30 minutes then let it run 30, after a few times they were gone.

Still trying to seal my tube up. I have gotten the regular barb darn well sealed, but after about two feet of teflon tape (!) on the threads of the zilla and plug, I still can't quite get an airtight seal... by airtight I mean place water inside the tube, create a suction on the barbs w/ my mouth, and invert it and watch for bubbles to float up. I realize the pressure inside from the pump and the size of the water molecules relative to the air molecules means I will doubtfully have any problems, but still, just being careful...

btw, I am so excited to get this all done up that I am about to burst. I suppose I ought to go get some pics of what I have done thusfar, eh?

after u tape the threads up good then tighted it down as tight as u can,Brass is self sealing so if u tighten it the brass will deform enuff to seal it all up,as for pics...im growing impatent here...i beg for pics damnit!..i tell ya what..post pics and ill post the ruff cut of your shroud :)

Thats all I have for now. Besides that I drilled the HDD cage out of the bottom of the PC-75 so I can mount my pump directly down there as I am using innovatek HDD cooler/vibe dampener mounts.

Progress progress progress... :D

Well ya wanted some pics here ya go!! By the way managed to get about 95 to 98 percent of the air out of the system. Its been running for 2 days and no leaks. The pics here are of my Aquatube and bay after being powder coated(the coating is called silver vein and the interior of case and the Evo360 grill on top of case for rad are powdered the same) and assembled and then some of the vid card and then some of the start of the stuff in the case. Gotta love that Zilla tube, Thanks BitchBreaker!!!

I have gf's every damn where..but i dont have many friends with rigs like that!

Sorry for not being available over the past weekend. A bad PSU killed my A8V (and my RAID array) so I had to break down Sick Rig and redo the cooling loop. I've opted for the Abit AV8 for revision 2 and I have also placed the WD Raptors on the Aquadrive Micro blocks. I'll get another temp probe in the loop too so I can measure all temperatures this time around as well. I thought everything was a tight fit before, now its even more so. :p

Well I done got my tube's hole cut and it fits down in snug like a glove. I suppose I should get some pics tonight, eh?

There is still sanding left to do, and yeah my dremel got away from me twice and nicked my case... but luckily it just nicked the part under the aquatube mounting bracket, thus it won't show at all. I'm pretty happy to see it moving along now :D

Dan..that blows big time!!!! Nathan...while u were cutting a hole iv been building my phase change system! who's the slacker now? yes ill post pics :)

Well My H2o has been running for 3 days now and no leaks. Also on another positive note I managed to get rid of about 99.9% of the air in the system. Looks clean and clear!!! Nathan, One thing that will help you is your res being on top. because I am running mine horizontally in an Aquabay it was creating issues of not being able to use the res to help bleed the air. So I set my case on end so the Res was on top and undid the screws and by hand or with a weight I held the glass in place and then cycled the pump on and of a few hundred times(felt like it) keeping some water near by. It formed air in the res and I would shut it off and open the res and let it just sit for a while making sure it was full to the rim. It helped if I flicked or tapped on the hoses to relase air stuck to them. As the res water would lower fill it up some more, again to the top. I also put a controller on my pump to be able to slow it down or speed it up. That helped to. But the biggest things I could do was cycling it like I was and then let it set for an hour. Filler up and run it and then cycle it and then let it sit. It takes some time but evenutally they will go away(even though I thout that would never happen)now Im horzontal againg and runnin clear and clean. Just some suggestions. Hope it helps. Im sure you will be fine. And you rig looks the Bomb!!!!! Nice work!!.

Here are some more pics of my project. Got real antsy and had to see it with the panels back on the frame. Just got done painting the DVD rom and the DVD burner bodys black to match. Still have lots of wiring work to do. Im sheathing all the wires in black with flexo pet covering and doing one of my you can barly see the wires jobs. Also doing Blue and Uv lighting as well. I aslo took a pic of my cpu so you could see what im planning on trying to get to about 3.2 ghz on this set up on. Should be fun. :D I hope to be all done and runnin by this time next week, time permiting of course. So BitchBreaker my bro, Where the fook are your pics at!!!

No pics yet i was thinking tonight and i really have no use for the phase change system so ill part it out tonight maby, the compressor is a uber bad ass Tecumseh AE151AT that does 3100 btu's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! its no little bitch thats for sure, any one want it? or wana pay me to finish it??? LOL

Dan do have any Aquatubes with aquajet and aquabay in stock?
aaaaaannnnddd any aireo plex 240 grills? :D

This may have already been asked, but

Does the Airplex Evo 120 Grill fit other radiators? Mainly, the Black Ice Extreme. I'd love to re-do my entire system with parts from your site, but I just can't afford to right now :( . So for the time being, I was going to just get the grill and mount it in my new wave master case. Speaking of the grill, when is it going to be in stock?

Anyone notice their room temps go up after putting in aqua-computer radiators? I switched from a heatercore to the evo 240 and my room has been considerably warmer the past week.... :(

of course, 70-80 degrees with 100% humidity doesn't help either i guess...

It's definitely worth it though ;)

I assume it does since the 120mm fan screw holes are standard and they will at least be the same so you can mount with those.

I have a black ice extreme and I ordered a one of the fan grills on december 11th. As well as an Aquatube and some other stuff. Still waiting for it to come in so I can build my WC system. I really hope the Aquatube comes in soon I want to see what my new 3000+ can do.

That's what I was assuming, but I remember reading somewhere that this wasn't the case for the 240 grill and a 2-fan radiator someone had. Maybe it was real late and I was reading stuff that wasn't there

Oh you are right the fan spacing may be different I didn't consider that, the different radiators may have slightly different distance between the 2 fans. Hmm I wonder if we can get first hand experience from anyone. Maybe I should cancel that part of my order.

This thread shows how a member mounted a black ice xtreme II with a 240 evo grill:

For what its worth the thermochill rads use mounting brackets/shrouds that mount to the sides of the radiator and give you 4 standard 120MM fan holes to mount your fans to.... I think they would work just dandy with the airplex grill....

Yes, I just checked, the shrouds/mounts do fit right up. Thus a thermochill is practically a direct bolt on for that grill.... if you wanted, you would have to trimp a small bit of steel to clear the slits on the grill by the screw locations, but we are talking like... maybe 1/2cm^2 per tab...

EDIT: Pics of the Thermochill mounts for future reference and those wanting a direct bolt up to the AC grill

Aight Boyz!!!! I figure by this time next week I will be ready to bring it!!!! Just got done paintin my DVD rom, DVD burner and Floppy (yes I still use one for Bios and drivers and the such but thats it) cases all black to match the PC power N Cooling PSU next is the wiring and then its go time. I Just ordered my memory tonight. The Gskill PC4400LE 2.5-3-3-7 @ ddr550. and only needs 2.75v to do it. I think with what Ive got I should be real close to 3.1 to 3.2Ghz and then SHAZAM!!! BIATCH!!!!! Of course James Earl Ray Just switched to Phase but I think I can nab into the top 2 or real close. We will see. SO BRING IT!!!!! And cmon Nathan We have to represent the AMD group well. and Nathan I do have a FX53 still here to.....hint hint!! Real cheap!!

Hey nathan.now that i think about it your best bet for mounting the shroud im making u is to use the thermo chill mounts! it will cut down on guess work u would have had to do to use the tabs i was gona make for ya!so now that i know this your shroud will be in the mail tomorrow if paint dry's in time!ill just have to make the mounts for the shroud to mout to the rad witch is Np ill just tig on some tabs to the rad and use self taping screws to hold it inplace :) this meen's 1 day closer to your system running! ya better get every thing ready for the rad to come back to u!cause its gona come ready to run! iv even made u a 3 pin cable to extend the 3 pin cable on the fans i wired up for u!

AHHHHHH! Thats orgasmically good news!

I'll try to prep everything ahead of time... all I want to have to do when I get the shroud is make one cut... the cut for the grill/rad and then clean up and be mounting! Fan freaking tastic to hear though, I am so uber excited. Now I'll get to show what I mean how simple it will be to mount w/ the thermochill radiator.... wooo g-damn I am so excited. :D This is my first real WC computer, first Lian Li/nice case, first time I'll have lapped my blocks etc, first with fan controllers.... my gosh! This is just... first time everything! :D

Cpt... Hmmmm on the FX-53... I do hear something calling my name.... we'll see how I feel once I get this 90nm 3500 up and running... ;)

Anyone know if the Twinplex will fit on the nVidia 6800 PCI-Express cards? It is the non GT. If I used it I would probably have to get some ram heatsinks or something.

Hey I was looking into getting a set of AC gear for my upcoming "rebuild" but have a question for some of you guys since I'm seeing alot of neo2plat boards, has anyone watercooled the NB on this board using something like an x800. I'm debating between the neo2 and the a8v from asus, dunno which would be better with water cooling. This is going on an athlon64 3500+ Winchester in a Chenming 901 (Have it laying around and could do some serious stuff with all the room in there).

Thanks in Advance

Do you plan to overclock? The Neo2 is a better overclcocker and has more features as well. The better of the 2 boards is the Neo2 platinum in my opinion. I have used the A8v (and the Abit AV8) and as they were good boards they have more quirks then the Neo2 does. The Nvidia chipset is also much more superior to the Via as well. As far as water cooling the chipset its not nessacary. On either board. But as far as the Neo goes its impossible to fit a chipset cooler on it due to where the graphics card layout is. As far as I know it cant be done.( I tried) The Neo2 also is a faster board even in stock settings. It also seams to win every review i have read against all competitors. The highest overclocks on 939 cpus have been done on the Neo2 as well. Its what I use and I would recomend it highly over any other.
