correct, had two storms in one day really early in the day and again late in the day,typical spring storms and both times it knocked off the power to the home and from that day to now PC not been running properly and dummy me had the PC running and both times it lost power.

ya, i have pretty much give up on testing and just going to buy all new instead of hand me down ram, it lasted for a good while till the storms hit, My only concern is that i install new ram and still have the same trouble...... :)

ya, My only other somewhat major concern is what if its the motherboard? but i also think that if it was the motherboard,wouldn't it not even read the stick of ram, for ex: DIM 1 slot is bad, would it not even show the ram in the slot? or could it show the ram(and read/write) but with errors...
