I did a rough 3D model based on the dimensions and product images Samsung has put out. This sucker is so much larger than I expected. Desk shown is 30" deep and 6' wide.
I'm no longer sure this is the right monitor for me. The amount of space behind the monitor is insane.
My case gives cables a single point out at the top (SV590), so that helps, but I'm a big fan of split cable sleeving as a way to bundle things. I sometimes use multiple smaller sections that then combine into a larger one, branching as needed.
Unfortunately looks like this monitor falls to the same thing that bothers me about most curved displays - the curvature isn't uniform. Looks like about 1/6th of the display is flat on either side.
That's about what I expected, but it was worth a shot. I actually had a 5800x but returned it for this 5600x because I figured it'll have a little better resale when I finally find a 5900x.
This whole mess is a shame, but I gotta get things rolling so I can finish my thesis.
I figure this is a longshot, but apparently the MicroCenter near me hasn't been getting 5900x chips so maybe somewhere the inverse is true.
I'll trade a 5600x + paypal for a 5900x.
Alternatively if you have a 5900x for somewhere around MSRP + Tax + Shipping, I'll buy that. I've got about a week...

Hey guys I'm selling a Corsair RM1000i with the appropriate Alchemy Cable Kit. I no longer have the stock cables so I'm selling them together. I'm looking for $180 shipped within the continental US. I can include the original boxes if you really want them, but that would incur extra shipping...
Well I designed and built the desk myself, so I'm afraid I can't point you to much information on that (unless you want me to get into actual detail, which I can do). The chair is a Nefil 3D Mesh Executive Chair... but I'm pretty sure you were asking about the desk.
A lot of people are very excited about this list of 3rd party support - but the only one that stands out to me that wasn't on the Wii U roster is Unity (because it wasn't big yet). Something like 6 months after the Wii U launch, EA, Ubisoft, Bethesda, and the tremendous number of developers...
