Are you guys saying that even after decent calibration the HP will be noticeably better than the Dell?
I'd love the HP but it's $200 more than the Dell....
On a side note the BenQ FP 241VW is well over $US 1,000 in Europe!

Many reviews point to the (very) saturated and bright colors of the Dell 2408WFP.
Do you confirm?
Is it something that can be fixed by calibration?
Are the colors on the BenQ FP241VW better?
Thanks!
Hi,
I need to buy a new desktop.
My current one that I bought components by components in Chinatown 4 years or so ago is reaching its limit.
I no longer know what mobo, video card, CPU etc is good and I don't need a monster.
I'm watching movies, some photo post processing and...
I wanted to buy a monitor as well as a new desktop at Xmas price.
However I don't seem to find any good deals on computers and I'm not even sure what I want.
Anyway, can I use a 24'' LCD (like the Dell 2408WFP) with my 4 year-old Radeon 9600 (I think it's a 128MB)?
Is there a required...
Thanks!
I thought the Dell input lag was fixed with the newest release?
And is it such an issue for movies and Internet?
As for the wide gamut, what does that mean?
Brighter, more intense colors than the BenQ (and more than it should be)?
I'm interested in a 24'' to watch movies (divX and DVD), edit photos and surf the web (I'm NOT gaming)
What would you buy (price in CAD)?
HP LP2475w for $750
BenQ FP241VW for $430
Dell 2408WFP for $540
or another one (or wait)?
