Really dont see what the controversy will be in this one. I mean lets face it, the reality is that every sim city/tycoon game is basically this exact same planned economy/dictator mechanic! This one just actually acknowledges that in the title!
Anyone else think the graphics in that video look a lot like the old Chip's Challenge game? I am sure that game is the origin of all these architectural bugs!
Anyone notice the picture for this news post was an old F/A-18 (from the looks of it a Blue Angles variant)?? Probably one of the slowest military planes out there today! Not even the super hornet variant!
I really dont know about jail time, but a hefty fine, or better yet a court order to provide reasonably high end version for free, would be a good way to go. What they did was stupidly wrong and a message should be sent that if you do this sort of thing you loose the right to whatever you a...
I am going back to hand written documents! With all the "word processing" i do these days no one can read my handwriting anyway! Also my spelling is so bad OCR/Document reading would effectively be encrypted! Its foolproof!
I would have to agree with azuza001! What I get out of this is screw patching, run an OS so old no one knows how to target it any more! Now where are my Windows 95 floppies? Or maybe Mac OS 9 if you really want under the radar?
I wonder what the true economic impact of this discussion is vs say the GDP of the country. While this virus/worm outbreak was quite spectacular it only generated around $50K for the virus agent (so really not all that much spent on decryption). Its lead to several days of clean-up on several...
This is awesome news, what I really hope though is that it finally lets you into buildings! Google maps supports going through many buildings (the Ottawa Air & Space Museum is particularly well done). I have been really hoping this makes it to the Google Earth VR environment for my vive!
I dont know if JD has gone far enough yet to get the kind of backlash that is needed, but this is just stupid the road they are on! I am very much a DIY guy, and I am one family tree brach away from a field loving farming family. My family history is in farming and self repairs of the equipment...
Oooooo Vermillion is missing a cuople:
OpenBox
BlackBox
ROX Desktop

I tend to stick to one of the big two KDE or Gnome... I am doing a bunch of Qt development these days and enjoy it much more than GTK, so that is biasing me.
Fully agree with dumping Unity. I used it a couple of times and found it brutal to use day to day. I always install Kubuntu or Gnome Ubuntu these days. I like the package system and applications that Ubuntu comes with but Unity was/is a no go.
I cant understand why they haven't already gone disk-less! I mean the last time I bought a disk for any PC game was probably when Halo came out for the PC all those years ago! PC Gaming has been effectively disk less for years now.
It all comes down to how they implement it. If they do...
