Was a lot of Newegg removing a card from my cart again and again no matter how fast I went but finally scored a STRIX OC edition. My heart was set on the gaming edition and there is my newbie question.
Is the OC version pretty much exactly the same as the Gaming edition just pre-overclocked...
I find all the different names confusing on what you are getting.
As far as I can tell the only difference is the overclocking and the strix having 3 fans on it.
If that is the only difference then it seems pretty good.
Not currently, still hanging out in 1080p. But I am guessing a Ti version won't be out for months.
I guess the normal 1080 card will last until that time I upgrade, then could just get another and do the whole SLI thing.
I read somewhere that after the Korean war, they had the chance to start from scratch basically so got to lay fiber cable everywhere. So when the internet rolled on in they have always been able to use it to the fullest while lots of the U.S. is still on copper wires and small fiber lines...
I went to pre-order and being accustomed to Microsoft I went looking for the 64 bit version since they have done them separately in XP and Vista. No info I can find even on the Win7 website actually says straight up "32 and 64 bit included".
Anyone know if M$ finally just started packaging both...
Glad I saved the packing slip from when I bought this computer 3 years ago.
Says its an Antec TP2-550 EPS12V, but I don't see the amps but web says 36.
Good enough?
Ok, so I ordered a 260 216 core card, I found my power <PSU?> is 550w. Can that run both the 260 and 8800 card as a physX dedicated one if I dont overclock anything?
Or should I just use the one card?
If it is not good to use both can I still just leave the 8800 in and not have it used until I...
