Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Is it just me or does anyone else get the anoying pop up in the bottom right hand screen when they plug this in? It says, device is not connected to a high speed hub, yet low and behold, the window opens that shows the usb tree and it is in fact connected to a usb high speed hub. Any takes?
Issue resolved: faulty cpu. determined after slipping in test amd duron cpu. New barton core installed - runs awesomely. Unknown dmg if any caused to mobo or other components a possibility? Anyway, good call and thanks again for the help guys.
conflict resolved. it turns out making the arrays for each individual drive works. they work as stripe w/ strip blocks running on 64kb. its this alright or is running them on 64kb strip blocks lagging me?

After looking over the setup with a friend and carefull consideration, we've come to the conclusion that the optical drives have shorted/destroyed the ide controller on the new mobo (and possibly the previous mobo). Wheater only the burner or both of the two drives are to blame will probably...

Alrighty - ran Memtest86 for 2 passes, no issues - according to the guide 1 pass is a pretty good indication of memory health, so at least thats covered... Any other guesses? Oh and my windows install cd is okay (no scratches etc), so thats out. Perhaps it really is a hard drive issue...only...

The windows protection Im talking about is that...
