Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
What hardware / OS should i go with? The setup: several users who want to stream junk from client to client and from internet, torrent, and have crazy fast Lan speed for moving massive work files around. Right now a asus n-16 with ddwrt just can't handle the load. It locks up and needs a reset...
Kyle you speak as though your readership of "enthusiasts" has no interest in HTPC-type and/or home file server applications. Also consider that some of us actually care about idle power usage.... and sometimes underclocking is just as important.

Did the review mention that you won't be needing a tangled mess of expensive and pointless display port adapter cables? Dont forget you have to add that cost, hassle, and eyesore to any amd setup you compare. (even the sapphire flex uses an adapter cable)
When i click Submit Message, it loads the default Private Messages page (like i assume it should), but shows 0 messages in Inbox and 0 Sent Messages.
I've tried with opera and firefox browsers - all java and plugins enabled.
Only thing i can think of is this account might not be old...
I gave up. This appears to be one of those ideas that looks great on paper but doesn't translate well into reality. Found one laptop locally but quite lackluster specs and over $900. It's still feasible if you bought a laptop a couple years ago with a pci-e port, but not if you don't already...
Is there a quick way to tell if laptops have expresscard slots? I'm trying to pick one out from newegg / tigerdirect etc, but there's no mention of express card slots on any listings.
I've done research and found some "lists" of laptops with expresscard but the lists are either cryptic, out...
