Update #2
Very odd,
So as I have said before... toggling off Furry Object produced noise for me but now it is complete silent. I can not hear a thing.
BUT, there is every so slight, very very extremely low level of coil whine noise (i have to get close and concentrate to hear it) with the...
Who here solved the coil whine noise by replacing a PSU ?
If so, which model to which model have you replaced with?
I personally am using PC Power & Cooling 750W (red)
To those of you talking about whether or not coil whine / buzzing (non fan related) is a issue or not. It is a technical issue.
I don't know know about other manufacturers but Asus tech did tell me that at a factory settings there should not be any sort of noise as such and is considered...
My update:
As for coil whine/buzz... it is now very very low to non but on a full load now I can hear a very low level of whine noise.
Even doing the FurMark furry object off does not produce noticeable coil whine anymore. I mean there still is but very very low level of noise now.
Personal Update:
Last night before I going out for a dinner I decided to test my GPU overclocking with FurMark.
I only overclocked the GPU core for 185MHz+, +10mV, 110% Power Limit, Custom Fan speed set to 50% max and during FurMark boosted clock speed showed as 1501MHz at around 63C steady...
Make sure that all of you report this to your manufacturer as well and see what they say.
Asus told me if the noise bothers me I should exchange it to where I bought it from since these GPS are very new.
At least for me I can take a short drive to Asus service center of I have to. One...
It's the crappy smartphone recording...
video just gives you a idea of it.
It isn't low to loud noise... it is no noise to having noise.. that is why it is even more noticeable.
Captured a short video for anyone who want to be bothered by it...
Turn on annotation & don't mind the fan noise... very low in person.

I just noticed something else..
While running a Burn-In FurMark without AA, CPU is fully loaded but core clock is only around 980MHz. (no buzz/whine)
But toggling off the fur cause core clock to run higher at around 1317MHz but load is only around 45%. (now with buzz/whine)
Another...
I just received a email from ASUS and support told me it is not possible to use both DVI ports same time as it is configured on same chip.
Told me I can use in following configuration.
DVI/VGA + HDMI
HDMI + VGA/DVI
But damned support forgot to reply back with my other question as to why DVI-D...
Hello,
Asus GeForce GTX 970 Strix DVD-D port isn't detecting my monitor.
MY dual display (both DVI) worked well with my previous GPU (GTX 670).
Anyone else experience this? Likely a hardware issue? vBIOS?
Anyone else with GTX 970(any brand) could check theirs? (If you have a monitor...
Greetings.
I have a Asus GTX 970 and I too here this buzz/whine noise...
but what is strange for me is... it does not always make noise but I can 100% cause it to reproduce this noise.
I ran a FurMark Burn In to load it up but clock speed wasn't reaching its max, I had to enable 8X...
