    2016 Curved 4K Monitor

Are you referring to this review of the 7000? I am tempted to get it from Jet.com since they have a flexible return policy.

2015 Samsung 4k TV as a Monitor Set Up Guide

How do Samsung TV version numbers work? Is 7500 significantly worse than 9000 or anything? Or does that number not mean anything?

Thank you - I just made a post in that thread.

2015 Samsung 4k TV as a Monitor Set Up Guide

Does anyone have experience with the 2016 Samsung UN43KU7500? I'm hoping to use it as a monitor, but I'm struggling to find reviews. It's the only curved Samsung of this generation that is in the 40-45" range. I see a fair number of positive reviews for the 40" JU6700, but I'm really looking for...

    2016 Curved 4K Monitor

I currently have a Seiki 39" display that I use with my computer, and I really like it, but the latency and low framerate really bother me. I'd really like a curved display - ~44" would be ideal for me. The Samsung UN43KU7500 seems to be the closest to what I'm looking for, but I can't find any...

    Seiki SE50UY04 3840x2160 50" TV ($1300)

For anyone watching for the price to drop on this, Amazon has it for $426, and Tigerdirect has it for $400. I bought mine from Amazon, and have been very happy. No shipping charge, and they were happy to replace it for free since mine was having issues.

    Seiki SE50UY04 3840x2160 50" TV ($1300)

Which firmware is the most recent / has the lowest latency for the 39"? I can't find the one the supposedly posted on their facebook page. Is the one 'with backlight and color temp' new (it is dated 2013)? Basically, if I have a new 39" display, which firmware do you recommend?

    Seiki SE50UY04 3840x2160 50" TV ($1300)

I flashed firmware (I've tried 2 or 3 different ones), and I've adjusted the backlight settings, from both the main configuration window, and the service menu. When I adjust it though, it doesn't seem to do anything (the brightness / backlight doesn't seem to change). Is there a significant...

    Seiki SE50UY04 3840x2160 50" TV ($1300)

Just got mine today, and installed it. My Intel HD 4600 automatically switched to 4k / 30hz with no issues. The display real estate is pretty amazing. My only complaint is that the display is way too bright, even with the backlight set to zero. I tried adjusting the brightness down from 50, but...

    Seiki SE50UY04 3840x2160 50" TV ($1300)

According to tigerdirect, they have more ordered, but don't know when they are getting there. Amazon wouldn't tell me though, they didn't seem to know. I'd buy a used one from Amazon if the pricing was more reasonable.

Is Sears no longer carrying the TV after they sell out?

    Seiki SE50UY04 3840x2160 50" TV ($1300)

I'm looking to connect this up to my t430s (HD4000 integrated graphics) laptop via displayport when connected to a dock (using this adapter: http://www.microcenter.com/product/422091/UltraAV_DisplayPort_11_to_HDMI_14_Active_Adapter). People have indicated that they were able to use their HD4000...

    Dell 2407-WFP - Original EDID

I no longer need this, as I was able to use softMCCS to reset the display to factory default settings. Thanks anyways!

    Dell 2407-WFP - Original EDID

I just got a Dell 2407-WFP from a friend. The display works and looks great, but unfortunately I can't access the OSD to configure due to a bad EDID flash. I think I can flash the original EDID back and potentially fix it, but unfortunately I don't have the original EDID. This is where you...
