High end PC speakers for gaming and movies

For the price they aren't a bad choice. Hope you like them!

High end PC speakers for gaming and movies

If you'd rather go with speakers and an amp I would go with the Emotiva xb1's They sound really good up close but they lack bass. I used them with a small 8 inch sub and it helped a bunch.

High end PC speakers for gaming and movies

I would go with monitors then, they have their own issues but you will get a better sound at your desk with monitors instead of speakers. https://a.co/d/fQ4Dec2 - these are for a pair https://a.co/d/eIjLkEN - this is per monitor

High end PC speakers for gaming and movies

Are you using them on a desk? Most speakers aren't designed to be listened to in near-field. They will work of course but will sound better a few feet back. I'm speaking from experience here, I've had Klipsch r41m, klipsch the sixes, Kef q150, Triangle Br02, polk r100, and emotiva xb1 speakers...

High end PC speakers for gaming and movies

I've had a set for a few years and for $249 they are really good, they can be a little bright at volume however. Last year I started trying out replacements and so far the only thing I have found that sound better are the emotiva xb1. I do have some Kali Audio IN-5's in route and I have high...

    Audio reviews

Any desire for audio reviews in this group? I have a bad habit of trying new headphones and speakers fairly often and I thought it may help someone else. This would be purely subjective and I would only be able to compare to other items I have or have had. Just to list a few of the items I...

    new Koss KPH30 Wireless headphones

I really wish they would do a Bluetooth version of the ksc75, in my opinion they have the best "Koss" sound. I modded a pair to reside on a band instead of the ear clips and with better pads. I have a pair at work that are going on 5 years of use without issue.

"Great Sound" Options for PC in 2025?

Just my opinion here but I don't think at this point that's a worthwhile upgrade. I would return the G8 if you still can, I think in that price range the MB audio is fine. I'm currently using the built in DAC from the MB (gigabyte X870) to an JDS Atom and I am pretty happy with it. The next...

It Might Be Time to Admit the Great VR Experiment Has Failed

I don't believe failed is the right word. Honestly was the belief that most people would get into VR? I work with 15 people and 13 of those can't figure out how to restart their phone if they have an issue. VR was always going to be a limited userbase to begin with. We are years away from the...
