    If you have the time you should try windows xp. It increased my frame rate and got rid of most of the stutter compared to windows 7.

    You are putting too much emphasis on temperature. Unstable over clocks will often crash before they reach a high temperature. Prime is great in these situations.

    The purpose of using low settings is to take the video card out of the equation. It is true you don't get an absolute measure of performance, but you do get a relative rating compared to other CPUs.

    The problem I see with these "stable-for-what-I-do" overclocks are that you then have to worry about pushing your computer too hard. I like the peace of mind that stress tests provide. I never have to say to myself "Wait, I should not do this because it's too CPU intensive."

    The 85hz cap is a CRT only issue. LCDs work at 120hz out of the box. They have to or else 3D would not work.

    I've seen people mention the LG has 0 input lag in a couple places. What is ment by this? Surely they don't mean absolute 0. I'm looking for something to replace my CRT for gaming and I would like to get an LCD with the lowest possible input lag.
