    I just received my Asus Xonar DGX PCIE w/ Headphone amp sound card and I feel that it has made a big improvement in sound. Sounds are now sharp when playing games. The card advertises 5.1 virtual surround sound but there is also a 7.1 setting as well (In the UNI Xonar 3rd party driver anyway)...

    I picked up a HD558 yesterday at BestBuy and I am pretty disappointed with the sound as well. I am glad that I kept the receipt because they might find their way back. Although I must admit, I am using an integrated realtek sound card, but I am not sure if a dedicated sound card (the Asus DGX)...

    Sorry, once again I should of been more specific, I tried both of those programs. Flawless did nothing. Wide screen fixer changed the aspect ratio to the correct one but it would only display on one screen and had large black bars
