Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I'm officially nominating FlyingOak. Has been folding for the H since the very beginning. Has over 100K legit WUs. Not setting the world on fire with PPD or multiple forum posts, but has watched DC'ers of the Month come and go while been continously grinding out WUs and passing them by in...
You might be pushing that PSU to it's limits. Nice overclock on the i5 BTW. Does that motherboard have the additional sata power plug for when using two GPUs?
If it makes you feel any better, I've had my rig be Linx stable, but not f@h stable and vice versa for some reason.
I get around 28K ppd with mine. I use MSI afterburner to set the fan at 85% full time to keep temps in check. I pause it and set the fan back to "auto" when I'm using my PC though.
All those GPUs, seeing an increase of at least a 10x increase in production (when on a QRB unit), plus at least 300 more active members....nah, we're not scared. :)
Old fah installs like on my rig. Try looking in the other user folders within the Documents and Settings folder.
Or better yet! right click properties on the fahcontrol icon. And take note of the "start in" path. That's where you want to look for your cores.
Yep, and a little overclock may get you over 120K PPD on it (I have a 560ti). My fan runs at 85% when folding though.
I feel a little "baited and switched" after getting these P762x units though. I'm getting 10K PPD on these things with the 560ti. 4 of my 8 GPUs are chewing one right now. :(
With my XP machine, it's in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\FAHclient\cores\
You might have to "unhide" hidden folders in your folder view options to find the "Application Data" folder though.
