Just an update: The card game a few days ago and the install went pretty smooth. So far save some physics related issues with Metro Last Light its taking everything I can throw at it with solid frame rates at my monitors native resolution. Very happy with my purchase so far.

You have my interest as I'd love to try water cooling my next GPU to get some first hand experience but the current thread seems a fair bit out of date.

Yeah that's the main thing making me quite leery of the prospect even considering the initial savings. ;) As I've said before for a cheaper mid-level card I wouldn't care, my current card was a mid-level open box special with no real warranty after all, but with a high end piece of hardware this...
