Lately I feel I have noticed increased motion-aliasing/pixel creep/shimmering artifacts in games when in motion. I notice it mostly on distance/midrange objects. Things up close seem fine. I noticed this with my AMD 7950 and there has been no change when I put my GTX 970 in. Is it just me...
My EVGA GTX 970 SSC ACX 2.0+ is running 1418mhz out of the box which is higher than the box states. Is this normal? I havent done anything except install Precision X to monitor osd, havent moved any sliders yet. I didnt get a used card running somebodies old OC settings have I ha?
Hey guys, first of all sorry if there is an influx of "noobish" Nvidia related questions as my 970 just arrive and it's my first Nvidia card after 2 generations of AMD GPU's since building my this rig in 2012.
When I set a fan profile in EVGA, do I need to have EVGA set to run on computer...
Hey guys, I just noticed something today that is troubling me. I recieved my GTX 970, I also own an 7950 Boost.
Upon installing the GTX 970 I immediatly notice that Advanced Warfare has a crazy amount of input lag with Vsync enabled.
There is a little bit with the 7950 installed, but input...
Was checking some benchmarks and it always seems to be just a bit below the 980, and quite a bit better than AMD's offerings. At higher resolutions things change a bit with the 290x taking lead and the 980 extending it's lead a bit further but at 1080p the 970 appears to be quite the little beast.
Am I the only one that prefers the feel of this game at 30fps over 60? Heh :embarrased
it just feels more like how I know GTA... 60 almost feels unnaturally smooth especially when cars collide, gives that saints row feel kind of
Just running FXAA alone leaves a lot of temporal aliasing, especially during the bright daytime. And if you don't run MSAA you get the dithering effect in the distant objects which looks really bad.
Really wish this game had Filmic SMAA T2X from Advanced Warfare. It would look perfect then.
How are you running SMAA?
I tried RadeonPro but it introduces a framerate hiccup which is detectable by going into any open area, and spinning the camera. Every few seconds you will see a slight hitch. I was only able to cure it by stopping RadeonPro.
I wish I could use it but AMD has issues with MSAA and this game.
Looking into Nvidia now for TxAA as well, since the game has so much temporal aliasing.
