Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
It seems that opendns improves things. Regarding the router I still wanted a new one because of other problems. New firmware hasn't been released in years.
No it is two different computers. One with ubuntu and one with xp. Not using any 3rd party firewall on the xp computer and avg free antivirus. I'm pretty sure that the problem is worse on my home computer with xp, might even be a lot worse but I haven't measured it.
Hi,
I use Firefox at home and at work. At home I'm connected through cable broadband using a netgear router and cable modem. At work I'm not entirely sure what we use but there are a couple of mbit switches and an adsl link. Often when I click a link nothing happens except the browser waiting...
Well, to end this thread.
For now I'm assuming that this game would run better with an Sound Blaster X-fi titanium. I will probably purchase one soon. That will also give me the option of full surround on my 5.1 surround system since it has dd live. If Lego Batman has a problem with my OS I...
Hi,
Thanks for all answers. It doesn't seem to be a memory issue. Peak memory was only about 1.3GB. But when I disabled the sound effects the game started running a lot smoother. There seem to be an issue when there are lot of explosions and other sound effects in the game. I just wonder how...
Yes, you're right.
But it seems a bit unlikely that the memory wouldn't be enough when they recommend 512 in XP... in vista I would definitively see the point of 4GB of ram =)
Thanks for the answers. It's not only that it's sometimes slow. It's completely unplayable, so choppy that you can't even control your characters.
The recommended system requirements seem to be:
Operating System: Windows XP/ Vista
Processor: Intel Pentium 4 3.0GHz/AMD Athlon XP equivalent...
Hi,
My girlfriend recently bought Lego Batman to play on our computer. Because of quite bad performance I managed to convince her that we needed a better graphics card. Unfortunately it did only seem to help performance slightly. As soon as a lot of things is happening in the game everything...
Hi,
I might have a problem with my 550W Antec truepower 2 . I usually don't have any problems with my computer but when I unplug my computer and leave it without power for a while, if I go for a longer trip for example, when I later connect it and tries to start the computer it refuses to...
Thanks for the response.
Yes I missed the graphics. I have a 7800GT.
Good that you say psu. I tried a lot lower memory timings and it did not work good at all. I might get it stable at 210MHz. A friend of mine got a x2 3800 to 240MHz without any problems. He had a 430W enermax of the same...
Hi!
I've tried to read up on overclocking and I've also talked to some friends. The problem is that I cannot get my computer to overclock almost anything. I begin with my spec:
x2 4200
2x1024 corsair xms c2
asus a8n-e
1 hd 1dvd 1cd-rw
enermax psu 355W with 20pin->24pin converter
I'm...
