It's ViewSonic's software that apparently does nothing and greys out if you're on DVI mode. (The 'Adjust', 'Color', 'Wizard', 'File', and 'Plugins' tabs are all greyed out.) arrghh..
I'm currently trying on SRGB color setting but it's bight as hell and make blacks even less black...
Hmm, good point. I use DVI, as I understood it was better and resulted in sharper colours. I was unaware that because of this you can't really edit anything in PerfectSuite...

I've read a lot of conflicting crap about how refresh rates on LCD's work, and where I should have mine set. (I have a new Viewsonic VP930b.)
Can we please settle this once and for all? Knowledgeable posters only please.
I also just picked up a VP930b yesterday. I noticed the black is not too 'black', at the default setting, so I'm trying to find something to configure properly. Right now my settings are Contrast=90 and Brightness=25.
I tried to use the PerfectSuite software it comes with, but all the tabs...
ok I admit it with all the talk i'm looking at the the Dell 2405. I'm a graphics / webdesign geek. Have yet to hear anything either way about it's colour trueness (the reason why i'm still clutching on to my crt.) How does it stack up for colour fidelity?
