Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
All he plays is WoW haha.
But to answer your other question, I think he wants to just go with prebuilt to save from the hassle.
Unless the savings are truly significant then I suppose I could build for him. I haven't built one in years and I recently just ordered from AVA myself to save...
Sorry about that

Hey guys, my brother is trying to purchase a new machine for gaming. He understands that 1000 won't get him very far so I was just wondering what would be the best bang for the buck (other than building one)
He's been looking at the pre - built Gateways, any opinion on those?
Thanks
Hi all. I need to customize the win log on dialog box to support another button.
Basically when you press ctrl + alt + delete and the dialog comes up , or when you boot up a windows machine and you have the windows login box - I need a nother button that will basically open up IE.
Any ideas?
What kind of fps do you get? Say for instance, in dalaran. Which drivers are you currently using and what resolution do you play at?
It seems a number of 4870x2 users are getting some pretty low performance numbers (not unplayable but lower than what one would expect from such a monster...
It runs okay on mine. But I was expecting far better results even though its certainly playable.
I play on 1920 with 4xAA (enabled in application) with Vsync OFF - I get around 40-60 fps average - I thought I would get much more.
What is everyone else getting?
So I got my monitor "repaired" and I when I got it back the DVI ports were working fine. A month later, The DVI ports stopped working again. Once in awhile I can get it to pick up a signal from my video card (4870x2), but if I restart or change resolutions the signal is lost again.
What could...
awesome, thanks OP.
Is a full driver sweeper required prior to installin these over old drivers, typically?
Notice any difference in the "stuttering" that alot of ATI users are experiencing?
I finally got around to playing Warhead. My specs:
Q9450@3.0
4gb Ram
Sapphire 4870x2
Vista 64
Catalyst 8.10
I'm averaging around 20-30fps on 1900x1200 on Enthusiast in dx10 - which is a little less than I would have hoped for - so I decided to try dx9 after hearing of better...
I am running catalyst 8.9's can you force v-sync through that? I thouhgt I read something about not be able to do so - or at least, it not fully working properly. I could be wrong.
