here is my issue taken with Nikon D40x on stand with ISO 100 * the camera makes it a bit overkill due to its sensitivity compared to the human eye but you get the idea, the camera stand is a bit crooked (fullsize)

that looks like what i got, half of my screen is greenishbrown and the other purpleish blue seems to be related to view angle when i sit right on front of it, its annoying when watching a movie i can realy see it on 2.35:1 when there is black bars, and half the screen looks just like a grayscale...

did you try to turn off all the stupid so called image enchancments in the drivers for you video card? and what software and videocard do you use?, newer cards has better scalers than the older ones, btw vga is the worst input to use

dont have you hopes to high up, AMD have yet another card up it sleeves (: a name to remember is Antilles, it comes after Cayman, its basicly two cayman chips rolled onto one card :P

I'm running a 30 inch panel at 2560x1600. <- get a Radeon HD 5970, two 5870, two 5850 or the upcoming 5970 4GB they should give anything a run if their money ATI is louder everyone knows that, but its only when over 60% fan speed, and most of the time ati cards are not loud

why do people say Phenom II sucks? it BEATS intel at same price range, a phenom II beats a Core 2 Quad 9400, and a phenom II 920 beats a Core 2 Quad 9300 and costs nealy the same 2GB memory for phenom?, unfair all systems that are tested should have same memory amount or it wont be a fair...

most routers only support bridge on WAN, thats the point to bridge a ADSL/2+ Modem with the router to connect to teh internet the DIR-655 and most routers will allow traffic from wired to wireless or wireless to wired so nothing to worry about router in closet = bad!!! put it on the wall...

jup baredrive = just the drive without screws, manual, software, basicly the icepack is the drive hehe with samsung you do get a quickguide and some screws but depends ;P

most harddrives + network overhead = 30 mb/s unless you run 2x Raptors 74GB 16MB Cache then you might get around 100 mb/s network transfer but still there is network overhead it also depends on network card, i think Intel has some good networks cards compared to onboards

buy a new dvi cable? test with a diffrent videocard if you can

no, you cant use component or hdmi/dvi or vga for HD

one thing, cheaper = TN, expensive = IPS and PVA if you are gonna get PVA or IPS get a HDTV instead you get more inches and better colors and contrast hehe, most monitors are for text and stuff so? i have a 40" 1080p HDTV in the living room. its the best pc screen in the house lol...

try powerstrip http://www.entechtaiwan.com/util/ps.shtm and force it at 1680x1050 btw am planing getting this monitor to, any experiences? are you happy with it? :rolleyes:
