I think some people are missing the point, Who in the hell has money for a 60$-40$ game anymore? I know i Don't.
Same problem with any nvidia card on my computer, Windows xp.
All the new drivers just make problems worse anymore, Nvidia just don't seem to care about xp anymore.
Cheaper, generally less wattage, less heat, And Just as fast in the real world *non synthetic tests*.

What is the big difference in regular enthusiast cards, and workstation cards?

I myself recently had graphics trouble, My 7600gt kicked the bucket but im able to pull the last bit of life out of it by downclocking the clocks, You might wanna try that and see what happens.
