Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Yea do what i said....
I passed memtest for 2 days and prime 95 for 3 days just fine... I was sure it was nt the memory either...... But if you slow it down like I said .. its only one simple BIOS change takes 1 min... and if your problem goes away then... what is it? memory or motherboard...
slow your memory speed from (say 400) to 333 on the FSB if it works fine its your memory, regardless of it passes memtest or prime 95. Cheap easy test. Simply slow your buss speed to one step lower ... if it works go from there.
I'm running this board with 4 512's corsair 2225 400 .... try going to 333 fsb and your normal timings and see if you see stability .. if you do its the ram.... I had ocz ddr 500 i tried to mem test just fine played battlefront just fine call of duty just fine ... but would crash on Empire Earth...
Ran Prime95 24 hours no errors
Memtest86. 3.2 no errors
the Microsoft windows offering for memory testing ... 24 hours one error on the 8th pass through about 14 hours into the test.. at the 11th pass through still just the one error on the 8'th pass ... but still chuggin along after 24...

could someone with an ASUS A8N SLI premium please tell me what your pci e buss speed is .... I thing Ntune alted my buss speed .. and I would like to compare it to the normal.
I accidently loaded a profile from my ntune that slowed my video card down...to below benchmark... the only setting it can play with I believe, is the pci e bus speed in the bios....
What is the default pci e bus speed? I really dont want to clear my bios back to defaults to find out...
