i know one is 250 gb more and seems to be cheaper. not sure if the brand is worth that much more. i dont mind having 250 gb less for this slave and i dont mind droping 10 bucks more. just wondering what is a better suggestion
so im building a new computer, i know a bit about ssd but i guess not completely. saw several ssd with similar specs and same company but totally different prices. i was under the impression that its all about the size in memory, and the read/write speed. these two seems to throw me of to why...
hahah makes sense. the only reason why im leaning towards spending more for what i wont use now is because i get a discount for these parts. my friend will be quitting at a electronic store soon and i want to get his discount now before i cant get it anymore once i need to upgrade my stuff. i...
only reason im thinking of getting a motherboard with quad sli is because i need to update the motherboard i have now to give to my brother. im upgrading everything so my brother wouldnt have to buy anything for a new pc he wants to build. hes already going to build off my tower and old...
hahahaha another thread in [H]ardocp was saying that x79 isnt neccessary in another thread called 3770 vs 3930k. they were explaining that most games doesnt need more than 2 cores so going with the 3930k with 6core isnt really necessary. they were also putting up a good argument that 3970k is...
i was orginally planing on getting a 3930k with the rampage iv extreme but was told it was way too much for what i need for just gaming. i dont mind paying up the price but if people are telling me that kind of power isnt needed for gaming, i was looking into 3770k.
the Asrock 11 Extreme seems to be an x79. arent those LGA 2011. im looking one for LGA1155. im hoping that they do have one but baldrik seems to be right so far. the guys at frys had nothing to offer and didnt know of any either.
I have been looking into motherboards and can't seem to find one with a 4-way sli@16x. I've seen many but when it is running all four, it only pushes it to 16x8x8x8. I am also in need of the motherboard to take a 3770k CPU. The only board I know that would accept 4-way sli@16x takes the lga2011...
also majority of the 4 way sli ive seen doesnt seem to allow me to take in 4 cards plus a tv-tuner. im in need of 4 way pci-e but another pci slot for a tv tuner. alot of motherboards has the small pci for tv tuner inbetween the 4way pci-e so i wouldnt know how the tv tuner can fit with all 4...
