Google walks back AI search results

Compared to the heavily processed foods with ingredients that sound more like weed killer, non toxic glue might not be that bad. Suggesting that on a pizza, or eating a small rock for it's minerals are what Sheldon Cooper would say. He is more like a robot that a human.

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella has had it with the constant hype surrounding AI

I think the world has been gradually but also constantly accelerating towards fully automated shops, services, and whole levels of office buildings replaced by servers. There's even almost realistic robotic girlfriends with chatbot software, the recent sci-fi movie "companion" could be a...

How do you keep an SSD cool in a laptop?

I would remove that cover, and drill heaps of little holes to make ventilation grills. If resale is a concern, that i'd get a spare cover for that. Next step might be get a laptop cooling stand, which would work well with all the ventilation holes. https://cl.pinterest.com/pin/534239574525362953/

ASUS unveils PRO WS power supplies up to 3000W, supporting four GeForce RTX 5090 graphics cards

Sure would expect it to be fine! The power on surge shouldn't be that big... Got anything else on that same circuit? Monitor, sound system, chargers? I wouldn't want to put much of anything else, 100 watts not bad, 200w is pushing it I think. Wouldn't want to be on the edge of tripping the...

    Anyone using Bazzite for gaming?

The amount of games that seem to work fine with Cachy looks nice, and it seems like Cachy might be the most efficient/best fps. I've been using Gimp for years, and have been slowly learning Blender, so very happy with them!

    Grand Theft Auto VI

Compared to what gamers have been spending just on gpu's while waiting for GTA 6, $100 isn't that bad. I wonder what percentage of gamers have always enjoyed GTA games, and I bet $100 would not change that.

    Thrustmaster on Linux

Any experience with Thrustmaster force feedback steering wheels on Linux? I'm finding mixed results on both Logitech and Thrustmaster wheels with OS such as Mint, Nobara, Bazzite and CachyOS

    Grand Theft Auto VI

Those scenes made it look really good! The delays are probably due to everyone involved watching replays of all the ass all day long. The strip clubs must look like pillow factories.

    Grand Theft Auto VI

A lot of that looked fairy realistic, but many people and lots of objects were not as good, which stand out :( Maybe it's better by release date but if not I bet a texture/lighting/etc upgrade pack will probably get made. It's been amazing to watch games evolve from a big fat white pixel...

    Anyone using Bazzite for gaming?

I'm reading good things about Mint, Nobara and Bazzite, i'm just trying to decide which to try. So what did not work with Bazzite?

A judge just blew up Apple’s control of the App Store

I hope this happens, for all games. Very easy for kids to gamble away hundreds or more trying to collect everything in just one game! Then there's "pay to win", i'd be happy to see that go away as well. It would be great if apple and google weren't trying to screw everyone, but same goes for...

    Any info on Windows 12?

OS with ads. To me that's like purposely installing a virus. I'm trying to learn more about running Linux, so many versions (flavours lol) I used to love windows but it's really becoming not what I want.
