Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Didn't read through all of the replys so I apologize if this has been mentioned already. I've always wished that whenever [H] does a new gen GPU review they would include a few older equivalent reference cards, that way peeps can have a more exact idea of what an upgrade will net them. I know...
BIOS update did the trick, system will occasionally post at 3000 but 2750 is where I'm at for now until I get windows loaded and have time to play around with it.
Ironically I only found out last night that Asus has added the ability to flash your bios from usb without anything plugged in...
I have read about the speed issues, honestly I'm perfectly fine with not hitting 3000. 2666 at a lower CAS refresh would probably end up slightly faster anyway if the sticks can manage it.
Thanks for letting me know about the BIOS update, I'm betting that's all I need. Will report here tomorrow...
Like I said, I can't get it to post at all. I would think it would be able to find a lower tuning and just work.
16GB / dimm is supported. There are several 128GB kits, albeit with slower ratings, on the validated memory kit list.
I've got...
Hey All,
I bought Gskills new DDR4-3000 64GB kit and it will not post under any circumstances, tried single and double configurations while running the Memtest ok feature. I know it's not on the validated memory list but assumed that was because its so new, all of its lower capacity siblings...
FYI, I believe that you also need Vista or Win 7 to even run three monitors, definitely to run eyefinity. I had a 5750 that wouldn't drive 3 monitors under XP even though all connections were native (2x DVI 1x DP).
I had the exact same problem with my 5750 if I overclocked it even slightly, gave up and kept it at stock. I couldn't tell you if the problem persisted with more recent drivers, but I definitely had it with whatever the standard drivers would have been about a year ago or so.
I was using only...
Hey Davido, I wonder if my issue is similar or applicable?

I've got tearing on my center monitor with the adapter provided with the card, but I'm in portrait mode, and my connection setup seems to be the opposite of yours. I'm not sure why...
Well, I'm also using the mini DP to DP adapter that came with the card and it is on the center monitor. The outer two are DVI direct to the card. However the mini DP to DP adapter shouldn't be active as there is no signal conversion, I will try swapping the monitors around to get a DVI...
Hey fellows,
I recently found and purchased a 3rd 24" monitor to add to my setup and took the plunge into eyefinity with a single 6970 (MSI). I have two dell 2405FPW's and an NEC PA241w setup in portrait mode with the two Dells flanking the NEC, the two Dells are hooked up with DVI, the NEC...
