Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
So are all these 9 series performance specs based on the new PCIe 2.0 slots? or will we still be seeing a signifigant increase in the old PCIe slots? Im currently running 2x8800 ultra oc. and if I upgrade to the 9800 GX2 x2, will i need a new mobo?
Ok so im still running 1401 because if u update to the 15xx series for this mobo u cant go back. something in the bios that Asus changed. Im seeing reports that the new 1501-03 bios is supplying more voltage to the Cpu than it is reporting. ppl are seeing 50-60c temps at idle and 65c lockups...
so i have been asking about this 1503 bios for the Striker Extreme mobo, and ive noticed something. Ever since the 1503 bios came out there are no more posts about the Striker Extreme. So either this is THE bios to get. or it has messed up everyone systems so they cant post about it. I heard...
Alot of ppl are saying that if they dont fix their driver issues with the new 9 series, they will be switching to ATI. What is ATI upto? Are they just waiting for Nvidia to bury themselves? I can tell u that a stable system with only 1 card is sounding pretty good right about now. :(
so asus has this up on their site as a full bios now, and i was wondering if anyone has had any trouble with it. I heard the 1502 and 1501 had some temp issues. Im still running 1401.....
