Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Not USD, it is euros. So 92 (including one way shipping). It would cost about 38 send card to EVGA. So total is 130 per card. They recommended sent them separately.
I paid 538 per card. I can pick up GTX 680 from store 480 and I would still get 400 from these cards. EVGA card cost 499 plus shipping both ways and they would give 420 per card. So making Step-up would cost more and I would need to be about 2 weeks without cards.
This EVGA Step-Up program is a bit misleading don´t you think? I was looking that I could change my GTX 580 Classified Ultras to GTX 680s by only paying shipping. So a couple of days ago I hit to #0 in queue. Then I found out that I would need to pay about 130 (including all shipping) per card...
Forceware 296.10 didn't help anything. I still get black screens if I disable my Afterburn "fix". I haven't had any issues in games (already played about 20 hours Mass Effect 3, Battlefield 40 hours and Skyrim 10 hours).
I think you hit the nail on the head. This is picture when I am watching flash video.
So the problem is probably combination of my hardware and drivers. So what component should I replace first?:D I was thinking to get new mobo. Perhaps x79 + 3930k...
Yes. I am running a triple monitor setup when it happens (3x Dell U2711). Maybe I should try running just one monitor and see how it goes. Like I said usually all screens go black and say no signal. Then they turn back on if I am lucky or computer reboots itself. Screen doesnt really flicker...
Yeah, juice isn't a problem and the proof is that I can play games without problems. Black screens only happens in 2d mode. I think this has something to do with card/mobo/psu power management. As far as I can tell that Afterburn 2d profile limit core to 450 and it still can idle 50 Mhz / 405...
